  • Patent number: 8820794
Abstract: A hose-in-hose system defined by a first inner hose assembly, a second inner hose assembly, a first outer hose assembly and a second outer hose assembly. The first inner hose assembly is carried within the first outer hose assembly. The second inner hose assembly is carried within the second outer hose assembly. A first spacer member is nested between the first inner hose assembly and the first outer hose assembly. A second spacer member is nested between the second inner hose assembly and the second outer hose assembly. Said first outer hose assembly is mateable to said second outer hose assembly such that said first inner hose assembly is held in mated contact with said second inner hose assembly.

  • Patent number: 8308200
Abstract: A double hose having a hose contained within a hose. First and second hose assemblies to be joined together so each have an outer hose and an inner hose. Ends coupler parts of the inner hoses are maintained in a concentric relationship within coupler parts on the ends of the outer hoses. The coupler parts are joinable to each other. One of the ends of the inner hoses extends beyond its corresponding coupler part to form a male and is received in the end of the other inner hose within the other coupler part. As such, when the flanges on the outer coupler parts of the outer hoses are joined together the inner hoses are joined to form a fluid tight seal.

  • Patent number: 8087430
Abstract: A leak detecting hose for transporting fluid. The hose has an inner and outer layer. The outer layer circumscribes the inner layer. A transition layer is located between the inner and outer layer, and the transition layer provides a flow path for the fluid in the hose when the inner layer is breached. A first conductive wire is placed in contact with the transition layer, and a second conductive wire is placed in contact with the transition layer. The conductive wires are adjacent to and spaced from each other. When the inner layer of the hose is breached, the first and second wires will contact the fluid in the flow path. The conductive wires are radially equidistant from the center of the hose and helically wound around the inner layer. The transition layer may include reinforcement material, which can have filaments that provide a flow path for the fluid.
