  • Publication number: 20240095747
Abstract: A system for stable and streamlined transaction approval includes a rule management server and an authorizer server that operates independently of the rule management server. The rule management server is configured to receive a transaction rule associated with an account specified by a client entered through a portal generated by a graphical user interface. The server is further configured to identify data relevant to the transaction rule and transmit the transaction rule and the data identified to an authorizer server. The authorizer server is configured to receive transaction data related to a pending transaction of the credit card and apply the transaction rule to the transaction data and the data identified by the rule management server to determine whether to approve the pending transaction. The authorizer server operates independent of the rule management server and can be optimized to approve transactions quickly and operate in a stable condition.

  • Patent number: 9470232
Abstract: A rotational speed governor for an air motor comprises a housing, a valve, a shaft, a cross-bar, a plate and a pair of weights. The housing has an air inlet and an air outlet. The valve is disposed between the air inlet and the air outlet. The shaft extends along an axis within the housing. The cross-bar is connected to the shaft. The plate intersects the shaft between the valve and the crossbar. The weights are rotatably connected to the crossbar at pivot points. Each weight comprises an arcuately profiled edge extending beyond the crossbar to engage the plate. The arcuately profiled edges are shaped to increase a moment arm on the plate as the weights pivot away from the shaft.

  • Publication number: 20090216576
Abstract: A method for constrained business plan optimization based on attributes. The method, according to one embodiment, uses business data of a manufacturer to generate constrained business plans using one or more attribute-based constraints. The method is highly efficient in organizations having a complex organizational structure, multiple interactive production flows, many products, many customers and the need to rapidly add attribute-based constraints. It allows managers to make better strategic and tactical decisions regarding their business, thereby maximizing profit while satisfying constraints.

  • Publication number: 20090132319
Abstract: A method for generating an asset loading plan is provided. The method determines at high accuracy which products and sales orders to load on which assets (e.g., machines) in order to gain a maximum profit. Specifically, the method generates an optimized loading plan of sales orders that were produced and a least opportunity cost loading plan of sales orders that were not produced. In accordance with one embodiment the method generates a chart that shows, for each asset (or a set of assets), the cash contribution per minute versus the number of cumulative production minutes. In accordance with another embodiment the method computes the marginal cash contribution to determine the additional cash contribution that could be made if additional production time is allocated to a specific asset.
