  • Publication number: 20180334384
Abstract: Systems and methods for producing chlorine dioxide in a single vessel process include a simplified control of sodium sulfate concentration, particularly for small to medium scale chlorine dioxide generators. The benefits of the described systems and methods include high chlorate efficiency, compact design and low sulfuric acid use. In some embodiments, the described systems and methods produce chlorine dioxide and separate the chlorine dioxide for use in the treatment of drinking water. The separated chlorine dioxide for use in the treatment of drinking water has no chlorate of chlorite or levels of chlorate or chlorite that are well below allowed limits. Novel compositions from which to produce chlorine dioxide include mixtures of hydrogen peroxide and a miner al acid and mixtures of an alkali metal chlorate, alkali metal salt and hydrogen peroxide are also described.

  • Patent number: 9767365
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and a method of monitoring a queue that allow for exactly recognizing objects in a queue and exactly monitoring the situation of the queue by tracking the recognized objects, using depth detection device such as a TOF camera. According to the present invention, it is possible to map a space and an image using depth information provided through a depth detection device without mapping a 3D space to an image taken by a camera and exactly measure the actual heights of objects from the ground using depth information of the objects and the background and initial parameters of the depth detection device so that desired objects can be exactly detected and recognized in filtering. Accordingly, the system can be less complicated. Further, waiting time is assigned to recognized objects so that they can be easily tracked.

  • Publication number: 20150122120
Abstract: Systems and methods for removing hydrogen sulfide from biogas resulting from anaerobic digestion of biodegradable waste utilize scrubbing vessels with pressure release devices to vent biogas when necessary to avoid over pressurization of the digesters. Use of iron containing sulfide scavengers in the digesters is avoided which avoids the disposal costs associated with iron containing sludge and the regular need to shut down the digesters to remove scale.

  • Patent number: 6965974
Abstract: A multiple agent system providing each of a plurality of agents, e.g., processors, to access a shared synchronous or asynchronous memory. In the case of synchronous memory, the clock signal from a super agent selected from among the plurality of agents provides a memory access clock signal to the other agents accessing the same shared memory. The other agents synchronize their respective address, data and control busses to those of the super agent, and output a representation of the same clock signal to the shared memory. In another aspect of the present invention, the shared memory is partitioned for use from among a plurality of groups of agents, each agent group comprising one or more agents. Any one of the agents may update a configuration register to flexibly reconfigure the amount of shared memory available to the agents as necessary.
