Abstract: A battery cell housing (40) for accommodating one or more battery cells for forming a battery module (M), wherein the housing (40) comprises: a body comprising one or more compartments (44B, 44T, etc) each for accommodating a respective cell, wherein the body is formed, e.g. by unitary moulding, of a thermally conductive, electrically insulating material. In some example forms the compartments (44B, 44T, etc) may be grouped together in groups (42B, 42T, etc) of e.g. 2 or 3, forming rows of tri-lobed and/or bi-lobed moulded formations. The moulded material forming the body may comprise a matrix of an electrically insulating material (e.g. a plastics material, such as GRP) having dispersed or distributed therewithin particles of a thermally conductive material (e.g. a thermally conductive ceramic material or a thermally conductive polymer).
