Abstract: Method of operating an actuator (1) for maneuvering a movable element (52), comprising a motor of asynchronous type or of brushless type or comprising a motor associated with a differential brake, and comprising a partially irreversible reduction gear, which comprises a step of establishing a measurement of an operating parameter of the actuator and a step of using this measurement to determine whether the actuator is driving the movable element or whether the actuator is being driven by the movable element, and then a step of implementing first logic for determining an end of travel or an obstacle, or a step of implementing second logic for determining an end of travel or an obstacle, depending on whether the actuator drives the movable element or the actuator is driven by the movable element.

Abstract: The method of operation is applied to an installation comprising an actuator supplied with an AC electric voltage and intended to drive a movable element equipping a building, in a first direction when the AC electric voltage is applied between a neutral conductor and a first phase conductor and in a second direction when the AC electric voltage is applied between the neutral conductor and a second phase conductor. It is a method wherein an item of information detected at the level of the actuator causes a sequence of at least one switching making or breaking a direct contact between the first and the second phase conductor.

Abstract: The method of operating an actuator intended to drive a movable element for closure, for privacy or for solar protection or a projection screen, comprising a motor, an electronic unit for controlling the supply to the motor and a control interface furnished with at least one first key and a second key, the pressing of which keys usually causes a movement of the motor in a first direction, respectively, a movement of the motor in a second direction, is one wherein, in at least one second mode of operation, the movements of the motor in the two directions are controlled by presses of the first key exclusively.
