  • Patent number: 10519844
Abstract: The heat insulation structure for a component of an exhaust system of a piston engine is arrangeable around the component such that an air space is formed between the component and the heat insulation structure, and includes an outer shell layer a middle shell layer that is arranged inside the outer shell layer, and a first inner shell layer that is arranged inside the middle shell layer. A first air gap is arranged between the outer shell layer and the middle shell layer, a first insulation layer is arranged between the middle shell layer and the first inner shell layer, and the outer shell layer is provided with venting apertures for natural ventilation of the first air gap.

  • Publication number: 20030213502
Abstract: Process and plant for washing without waste water discharges. The washing is done with recycling wash water, which is continuously purified and regenerated between each use. The rinsing is done in at least two stages. The wash water and the rinse water are recycled in two separate circuits balanced against each other in such a way that the water additions to the system may be limited to correspond to the losses through withdraw. In this way the plant can operate without generating surplus of wash water that must be discharged to the sewage system.

  • Patent number: 5827373
Abstract: Process and equipment for partial but substantial closing of the water and chemical cycle at, inter alia, automatic automobile washing machines. The wash water, which, when used, becomes loaded with oil and heavy metals and contains tensides, completing agents and possibly solvents, is treated by adding breaking and precipitating chemicals, sedimentation and filtration. The main part of the water and chemicals can be reused. Fresh water is needed for the final rinsing only.

  • Patent number: 5654722
Abstract: The invention relates to a device at antenna systems for generating radio waves, including a supporting structure mounting at least one main radiator (3) for transmitting radio waves and where high frequency electric currents are generated in the supporting structure when the main radiator (3) is transmitting the radio waves. In order to improve the range of the main radiator (3) and at the same time reduce its backward radiation, the supporting structure includes a secondary radiator (14) for each main radiator (3). The secondary radiator (14) has at least one break portion (12) for interrupting or breaking the high frequency currents generated therein and through the thereby interrupted flow of the high frequency currents in the supporting structure reduce deviations from the desired range and/or direction of the radio waves transmitted by the main radiator (3).

  • Patent number: 4032361
Abstract: A method for controlled separation of substances by heating, e.g. for removing paint or other coatings on scrap metal, includes heating in an oven chamber the material from which one or more substances are to be separated to a temperature sufficiently high to provide evaporation of the substances to be separated, by means of a circulating gas. The gas is circulated from the oven chamber to a combustion chamber, where it is burned, and then to a large extent recirculated back to the oven chamber. The burning in the combustion chamber is intended to facilitate the destruction or collection of harmful substances emitted in the oven chamber and generates the heat necessary for providing and sustaining the desired temperature in the oven chamber. Controlling the recirculating gas stream will provide close control of the separation process in the oven chamber and, thus, facilitate the cleaning of the gas quantity diverted from the combustion chamber to the atmosphere.
