  • Publication number: 20220051082
Abstract: A method for computer-aided estimation of an operating behavior for an MR device having a set of device component. The method includes providing a memory with a set of digital models, wherein each digital model simulates the operating behavior of a respective component of the MR device, and wherein the digital models are interconnected in accordance with the structure and/or functionality of the MR device to form a higher-order model which simulates the operating behavior of the MR device, acquiring operating data of the MR device, and in an inference phase, accessing by a processor of the memory having the acquired operating data to estimate the operating behavior of the MR device in order to output a result.

  • Patent number: 11031125
Abstract: In a method, a database system, a computer, and a medical system for the identification of faulty structural parts to be exchanged of a medical device, an identification algorithm is executed to calculate and emit an exchange data record that identifies a structural part to be exchanged, dependent on for a read-in error message from the medical device. The identification algorithm accesses a database system with a simulation model in which automatically generated error patterns (are stored in order to perform an analysis on these stored error patterns, so as to calculate the exchange data record. An error pattern is an association between the error message, an exchange data record, and an evaluation data record.

  • Patent number: 10896108
Abstract: In a method, a computer and a medical computer for automatic failure analysis in order to provide a cause of failure of the medical imaging apparatus during operation, input data are read into the computer that include raw data or image data, acquired by the imaging apparatus. A set of performance indicators in the input data is calculated by the computer. • Patent number: 10515316
Abstract: A system and method for optimizing customer magnetic resonance systems is provided. An automation system gathers data from a geographically dispersed network of installed magnetic resonance systems, which data is mined and analyzed in order to recognize patterns about the best practices of the installed base. Customer-specific variables for customer magnetic resonance systems are then optimized, based on the recognized patterns. More particularly, customer specific protocols and hardware/software configurations can be calculated and optimized, by making use of data mined from best-in-class customers having similar profiles.

  • Patent number: 8595553
Abstract: A system and method of servicing a group of similar types of equipment that maybe installed at geographically separated locations is described. The method makes use of error messages produced by the equipment and service requests received by a servicing center. Data mining techniques are used to establish error patterns associated with specific failure modes so that future error messages may be processed to determine if an identified failure mode has occurred. This will enable the efficient dispatch of spare parts and service personnel to the location where the failure has occurred.

  • Patent number: 7444008
Abstract: In a method and system for automatically processing studies of imaging examination systems, each of the studies is given a priority code. Dependent on its priority code, the study is either processed immediately on a first computer allocated to the appertaining imaging examination system or the study is first intermediately stored in a memory device for a later processing, and an identifier allocated to the study is stored in a processing job list. At later points in time, the studies whose identifiers are stored in the processing job list are processed according to a predefined sequence. The first computer has further computers allocated to it for this purpose. The availability of the allocated, further computers is then checked and, insofar as one of the allocated computers is available for a processing of the study, an intermediately stored study is communicated to the appertaining, allocated computer for processing.

  • Patent number: 7030615
Abstract: A magnetic resonance apparatus has a positioning unit and a patient bed. The positioning unit can store a number of positions of the patient bed and can automatically position in an imaging volume the associated examination regions established by a marking unit in a diagnostic data acquisition procedure predetermined by a measurement control unit. The positioning unit can detect dimensions of a patient by evaluation of the number of positions of the patient bed and transfer these dimensions to a monitoring module. The monitoring module adapts the RF transmitting power to the patient according to the dimensions.

  • Patent number: 6215911
Abstract: In an image acquisition method in which there is a sensitivity characteristic over the image space that is non-uniform but that changes only slowly, this characteristic is determined according to the steps of, in the original image, intensity changes are limited to a predetermined maximum value, a low-pass filtering is applied to the auxiliary image acquired in this way, and the sensitivity characteristic of the image acquisition method over the image space is acquired from the low-pass-filtered auxiliary image.
