    Abstract: The present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising a therapeutically effective dose of an isolated interferon (IFN) or IFN mutein for treatment of cardiomyopathy and of endothelial dysfunction, and to methods of treating cardiomyopathy and methods of treating endothelial dysfunction using such pharmaceutical compositions.
