  • Patent number: 10004141
Abstract: A kitchen appliance operable by electric motor includes a housing, which has an outer surface, and a data transmission interface designed to interact with a data memory element. The data transmission interface is formed in an outer surface of the housing by metal contact elements, which are arranged adjacent to each other and which each have a contact surface and form part of the outer surface. Further, a data memory element for transmitting data to a kitchen appliance operable by electric motor includes a plurality of contact elements that are separate from each other and optionally a contact surface. Further, a combination of a kitchen appliance operable by electric motor and a data memory element, which can be detachably connected to the kitchen appliance, can transmit data of the data memory element to the kitchen appliance while the data memory element is connected to the kitchen appliance.

  • Patent number: 9462914
Abstract: A food processor having a standing surface at the bottom, a rear side and a front side, wherein the front side, starting from the highest location of the food processor, is formed obliquely and contains a holder for a cooking vessel. Freely projecting rod parts are formed in an upper region of the food processor, wherein the front ends of the rod parts are arranged on the same horizontal plane and are set back. To improve handling further, it is proposed that the set-back amount should correspond to 25% to 50% of the largest extent of the food processor as seen in the depthwise direction in the standing-surface region of the food processor. The amount also corresponds to approximately half the horizontal distance between the longitudinal centre axes of the rod parts. The contour of the front side is always rounded in the region of the rod parts.

  • Publication number: 20160120368
Abstract: The invention relates to an electrical kitchen appliance for processing food by means of at least one processing function, which can be set by a user, as well as to a corresponding method. The electrical kitchen appliance (1) is provided with a setting device (6) for the user-side setting of at least one parameter of the processing function, wherein the setting device (6) is embodied as rotary knob. According to the invention, provision is made for an operating mode, in which the parameter is changed by a first amount for each angle of rotation by rotating the rotary knob in one direction and in which the parameter is changed by a second amount for each angle of rotation by rotating the rotary knob in the opposite direction, wherein the first amount differs from the second amount. This solves the object of specifying an electrical kitchen appliance, by means of which a parameter of a processing function can be input on the user-side in a simple, quick and reliable manner.
