The control node may cause at least one of the target wireless node or the plurality of other wireless nodes to use the plurality of powers for concurrent transmissions to the target wireless node using the plurality of links based at least in part on determining the plurality of powers. The second access node may be detected by the mobile access node or a central unit (CU). The mobile access node or the CU may determine for the mobile access node to enter a new power state and may notify the other of the determination. The mobile access node may enter a lower power state if the second access node is within a defined proximity or if one or more thresholds are exceeded. The mobile access node may enter a higher power state if no other access nodes are within the defined proximity or if the one or more thresholds are not exceeded. Configuration parameters for a power state change procedure may be configured by control signaling from a CU.

The described techniques provide for a first IAB node determining an adjustment to at least one parameter corresponding to a cell coverage of the first IAB node based at least in part on a geographic proximity of a cell relative to the first IAB node. For example, the first IAB node may determine to adjust the parameters based reference signal measurements, signal quality measurements (e.g., received from child nodes or user equipments (UEs)), etc. In another example, the first IAB node may receive an instruction from a central unit (CU) of the IAB network to adjust the at least one parameter. The first access node may transmit an indication of the adjustment to the at least one parameter. For example, the first access node may signal the adjustments to the CU, child IAB nodes, UEs and/or, other IAB nodes.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe a fallback silencing mechanism for wireless communications. A wireless device that operates primarily on unlicensed frequency bands, such as a factory automation device, may occasionally have a need to make Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication (URLLC) transmissions. If the unlicensed band becomes unsuitable for URLLC transmissions, the wireless device may fallback to licensed band transmissions. A silencing signal may be sent on downlink resources to silence uplink Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) transmissions for one or more mini-slots. The wireless device may then send a URLLC transmission on the one or more min-slots.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless systems, a base station centralized unit (CU) may communicate with a user equipment (UE) through a multi-hop backhaul architecture. This multi-hop backhaul connection may include a donor base station and any number of relay base stations connected via backhaul links. In some cases, the relay base stations or the UE may experience data congestion in a logical channel-specific buffer. The relay base stations or UE may implement backpressure signaling (e.g., in the medium access control (MAC) layer) to mitigate the congestion. A wireless device operating as a mobile termination (MT) endpoint may transmit a backpressure report message to a wireless device operating as a base station distributed unit (DU) endpoint for the logical channel. The base station DU may adjust a scheduling rate for data unit transmissions over the indicated logical channel based on the backpressure report.

A UE that receives the paging group information may determine transmission resources to monitor for a subsequent data channel transmission based at least in part on the identified paging group information.
