  • Publication number: 20030148966
Abstract: There is provided a composition including an ATP-inducing compound or ATP and an effective amount of cell death-inducing drug. Also provided is the method of inducing apoptosis in apoptosis-inducible cells by administering to the apoptosis inducible cells a composition including an effective amount of a cell death-inducing compound and an ATP-inducing compound or ATP. The present invention also provides a method of suppressing necrosis in cells by administering an effective amount of an ATP-inducing compound or ATP to a cell population, thereby inhibiting necrosis.
