Publication number: 20150008250Abstract: A device for ultrasonically welding metal parts includes a sonotrode whose head can be excited by a vibration generator to produce vibrations. The sonotrode is connected to the vibrator with a screw connection provided on one side of the sonotrode. The sonotrode head may have at least one welding surface relative to the torsion axis on the circumference side. An anvil having a counter/compacting surface may be arranged opposite the welding surface of the sonotrode in a stationary position. The welding surface and the compacting surface may delimit a compaction space to receive parts to be welded. The entire sonotrode may be excited to produce torsional oscillation with a negligibly small longitudinal vibration component.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 22, 2014Publication date: January 8, 2015Inventors: Georg Lang, Albert Büttiker

Patent number: 8875137Abstract: A configurable mass data portioning for parallel processing is described herein. One or more operation attributes are selected to participate in parallelization criteria. The values of the selected operation attributes for a number of operations are submitted to a specified algorithm using to provide parallelization values corresponding to the operations. The parallelization values are applied to group the operations in comparable portions for parallel execution without conflicts.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 2011Date of Patent: October 28, 2014Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Artur Kaufmann, Georg Lang

Patent number: 8840005Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for welding metal parts by means of ultrasound, in particular for welding strands, comprising a sonotrode (3) having a sonotrode head (3.1), which can be excited by an oscillation generator (9) to perform torsional oscillations with respect to a torsion axis (B). The sonotrode head (3.1) comprises at least one welding surface (3.4) relative to the torsion axis (B) on the circumference side. Furthermore, an anvil (18) having a counter/compacting surface (18.1) is provided, which can be arranged opposite the welding surface (3.4) of the sonotrode (3) in a stationary position relative thereto. In the case of an opposite arrangement, the welding surface (3.4) and the compacting surface (18.1) delimit a compaction space (8) in a direction perpendicular to the torsion axis (B), said space being provided to receive the parts to be welded.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2011Date of Patent: September 23, 2014Assignee: Telsonic Holding AGInventors: Georg Lang, Albert Büttiker

Patent number: 8801882Abstract: The invention relates to a torsion sonotrode (S) having a contact surface (1, 1?) for transferring a torsional oscillation directed about a torsion axis (T) onto a component (4) to be welded. To ensure that the welded joint has a uniform strength, it is proposed according to the invention that the contact surface (1, 1?) has a flat stop surface (2, 2?) which runs substantially perpendicular to the torsion axis (T) and from which elevations (3, 3?) of insular design extend with a pointed form.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 2011Date of Patent: August 12, 2014Assignee: Telsonic Holding AGInventors: Claus Regenberg, Georg Lang

Patent number: 8762422Abstract: Data structures used to store data in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system may be configured and custom-generated in a configuration mode of the ERP system where a subset of selectable data fields may be selected to avoid allocating space and resources to unused data fields. The data structures may then be generated in the configuration mode to eliminate the unused data fields at runtime. This in turn saves space and resources that would otherwise be allocated but not used. In ERP systems substantial space and computing resources may be saved by only allocating space and resources to only those resources that a specific customer intends to use.Type: GrantFiled: August 18, 2011Date of Patent: June 24, 2014Assignee: SAP AGInventors: Artur Kaufmann, Georg Lang

Publication number: 20140096149Abstract: A proxy remote function call is created in a first component of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, the proxy remote function call acting as a proxy for a previously created remote function call in the first component. A field mapping table may then be maintained for the proxy remote function call, the field mapping table containing a mapping of first data fields used for operation of a process in a second component of the ERP system to second data fields utilized by the remote function call in the first component, at least one of the first data fields mapping to a data field in the second data fields having a different data type and/or different field names. When a call is received from the process on the second component, fields in the parameters of the call may be converted using the field mapping table.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 14, 2012Publication date: April 3, 2014Applicant: SAP AGInventor: Georg Lang

Publication number: 20140089149Abstract: In an example embodiment, a mass reversal of documents in a convergent invoicing system may be accomplished by first receiving a first set of one or more reversal triggers, wherein each of the one or more task triggers corresponds to a document in the convergent invoicing system. Then a reversal task is received, wherein the reversal task corresponds to the first set of one or more reversal triggers. A second set of reversal triggers may then be automatically corresponded to reversal task, based upon documents corresponding to the one or more task triggers in the first set of ne or more reversal triggers. Once an indication that the reversal task has been released in received, for each reversal trigger corresponding to the reversal task, the reversal trigger is processed, causing a corresponding document to be reversed.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 27, 2012Publication date: March 27, 2014Inventors: Georg Lang, Artur Kaufmann

Publication number: 20120136869Abstract: In one embodiment the present invention includes a computer implemented method of processing information stored in a data structure. The method includes continuously generating individual records and storing the individual records in a database as a plurality of records. The method further includes selecting, according to a time period, a set of the plurality of records that qualify according to the time period. The method further includes moving the set to a table in the database, wherein the table excludes the plurality of records that are not in the set. In this manner, the records may be stored in a number of parallel tables, and this process may be managed at the application level instead of at the database level. Using parallel tables instead of a single large table may offer performance improvements, for example regarding deleting (or archiving) data.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 30, 2010Publication date: May 31, 2012Applicant: SAP AGInventors: Artur Kaufmann, Tom Brauer, Sylvia Beate Stiefvater, Georg Lang, Beate Schwenk
