  • Patent number: 4768574
Abstract: A valve for vehicle tires, in particular a snap-in valve, having a shell-like plastic material of a hardness in the condition as supplied of about 65 to 75 Shore A, which has a base portion for connection to a rim or the like and a valve cylinder having an external screwthread for a valve cap, wherein an axial opening in the valve cylinder, in the axial direction, is of different diameters and accommodates a valve insert which is mounted axially displaceably against a force storage means, is to be such that manufacture and also operational reliability are improved. That is achieved in that the shell-like body is combined with the valve cylinder to provide a valve body (11) and same is produced in one piece from the plastic material in such a way that the hardness at the inside surfaces (26, 27) of the axial opening of the valve cylinder is higher, at least in the region adjoining the valve insert (12), than at the base portion (14).

  • Patent number: 4700999
Abstract: A current leadthrough particularly for a refrigerator comprises an insulator with a plurality of electrically conductive spaced apart pins extending through the insulator. The insulator includes a disc-shaped base portion with a plurality of nub portions corresponding to the member of pins, the pins extending through the nub portions. The nub portions extending upwardly from the base portion and the base portion comprise a material having temperature stability which is insensitive to chemicals and has some elasticity.

  • Patent number: 4029328
Abstract: A device for moving objects that are normally temporarily used, such objects being, for example, furniture or the like used on beaches. The device is composed of an elongated shaft having a pair of wheels mounted on opposite ends thereof. A pair of blocks are axially slidably movable on the shaft and have a receiving groove therein for receiving a projection on the object which is to be transported. As a result, the object can be placed between the pair of blocks and the blocks adjusted to engage the peripheral edges of the object to clamp the object therebetween. Thereafter, the article can be transported on the wheels to the desired location.

  • Patent number: 3961398
Abstract: A snap-type fastening for garment belts or the like consists of two arrays of headed pins which can be pressed together to make the fastening. Each array is mounted on a resilient carrier strip and, to ensure a positive opening and closing action, each row of pins is mounted on a nonresilient strip transverse to the lengths of the carrier strips. An operating member of S-form can be used to open and close the fastening.
