Abstract: An arrangement for an electrical connector pluggable with a mating connector includes a housing, a lever attached to the housing movable between a pre-plugging disposition and a final plugging disposition, and a CPA movably attached to the lever movable from a delivery position through a ready-to-lock position to a locking position. The CPA secures the lever in the final plugging disposition to the housing when in the locking position. The lever is moved from the final plugging disposition to the pre-plugging disposition when the CPA is in the delivery position. The CPA is moved from the delivery position to the ready-to-lock position when the lever is in the pre-plugging disposition. The lever is moved to the final plugging disposition when the CPA is in the ready-to-lock position. The CPA is moved to the locking position when the lever is in the final plugging disposition and when the CPA is in the ready-to-lock position.

The accessibility of the push-button section is restricted by the cover element.
