  • Patent number: 12252353
Abstract: Elongate workpieces are transported in a transport direction and assembled to a string in the transport direction. A leading elongate workpiece is removed from the string and accelerated in a downstream discharge device such that a gap is formed between the leading elongate workpiece and a following elongate workpiece of the string. A stop is moved into the gap and prevents the following elongate workpiece of the string from being transported farther. The stop is removed when the leading elongate workpiece has left the discharge device and then the following elongate workpiece is removed from the string.

  • Patent number: 9873157
Abstract: A sawing apparatus for sawing workpieces of wood or plastic material has an adjustable frame part and a drive motor. A circular saw blade is operatively connected to the drive motor and drivable in rotation by the drive motor about an axis of rotation of the circular saw blade. The circular saw blade is adjustable from a ready position into a working position. The ready position is selected as a function of a position of the adjustable frame part such that the circular saw blade carries out a minimized angular travel as working travel during sawing. The adjustable frame part is adjustable at least in a vertical direction and/or in a horizontal direction transverse to the axis of rotation of the circular saw blade as a function of a cross-section of a workpiece to be sawed.

  • Patent number: 7896164
Abstract: A device for sorting out waste parts of workpieces on saws has a saw having at least one saw blade for cutting workpieces into workpiece parts. At least one feed roller is arranged upstream of the saw in a transport direction of workpieces. At least one feed roller is arranged downstream of the saw in the transport direction. At least one transport device is provided for the workpiece parts cut at the saw. At least one acceleration roller is arranged in the transport direction of the workpieces downstream of the saw so that the cut workpiece parts are transported by being accelerated away from the cutting area.

  • Publication number: 20050183554
Abstract: In a method for sawing pieces of wood in a sawing station, the pieces of wood are measured in a measuring station and sequentially transported from the measuring station to a sawing station. The pieces of wood are sawed in the sawing station into at least two sections based on the measured results taken at the measuring station. A second piece of wood that trails immediately a first piece of wood being cut in the sawing station is already transported into the sawing station while the first piece of wood is still being cut. The feeding velocity of the second piece of wood is selected such that the second piece of wood does not contact the first piece of wood within the sawing station.
