  • Patent number: 7527002
Abstract: A cableway cabin, having supporting elements including a base frame, a roof frame and at least four corner columns connecting the base frame to the roof frame. All these parts are formed only from tubular sections having a circular inner cross-section. The parts are which has three connecting pieces, at least one of which is conical and one of which in each case is pressed into one of the three tubular sections forming a corner. Unless all three connecting pieces are conical, it is expedient to make the non-conical connecting piece or connecting pieces cylindrical and to provide them with a constriction extending over more than 60% of their length and filled with a resilient adhesive.

  • Publication number: 20060005476
Abstract: The invention relates to a cableway cabin, the supporting elements of which consist of a base frame (1), a roof frame (2) and at least four corner columns (3, 4, 5, 6) connecting the base frame (1) to the roof frame (2). All these parts are formed only from tubular sections having a circular inner cross-section. They are connected at each corner by a corner connecting part (7) which has three connecting pieces (7a, 7b, 7c), at least one of which is conical and one of which in each case is pressed into one of the three tubular sections forming a corner. Unless all three connecting pieces are conical, it is expedient to make the non-conical connecting piece or connecting pieces cylindrical and to provide them with a constriction extending over more than 60% of their length and filled with a resilient adhesive.

  • Patent number: 4655144
Abstract: A passenger cabin for an aerial cable railway or the like is constructed from outwardly convex panels connected at their adjoining edges by hollow profile sections. One sidewall of the cabin is equipped with a door. Sensing members of the cabin engage control members of the cable railway stations and transmit a control motion to a door actuation mechanism within the floor construction of the cabin. A crank operates a rocker arm which drives two connecting rods. Racks arranged on the connecting rods drive sector gears mounted on the cabin and cause pivot arms connected with each leaf of the door to pivot. The pivot arms cause the doors to translate along and pivot conjointly with guide rails hinged at their common center. The door leaves can therefore be flush with the sidewall of the cabin in the closed position and require a minimum of space in opening.
