Publication number: 20210062328Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for coating a substrate, in particular a superconducting tape conductor, in a vacuum environment, comprising: generating a metallic material in the gas phase, feeding the gaseous metallic material into an expansion chamber, wherein the expansion chamber is adapted to cause the gaseous metallic material to expand and be directed towards the substrate, and depositing the metallic material on at least part of the surface of the substrate. Further, the present invention relates to a coated superconducting tape conductor comprising: at least one superconducting layer and at least one metallic coating deposited on the tape conductor, wherein the thickness of the metallic coating is at least 1 ?m and varies over the width of the coated tape conductor by no more than 10%, preferably no more than 5%.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 31, 2020Publication date: March 4, 2021Inventor: Georg SIGL

Patent number: 7989052Abstract: The present invention relates to an airbag cover, in particular for a motor vehicle, comprising a decor layer (1) having a decor side (2) forming an observation area, which borders the space in which the airbag deploys if the need arises, and an airbag side (3) opposite to the decor side. The decor layer further has a weakening (4) in the region of a tear line for deploying the airbag, which extends from the airbag side of the decor layer such that the decor layer is substantially intact on the decor side. The air bag cover of the present invention further has at least one second layer (2) which may be designed as spacer mesh, the second layer being attached to the airbag side of the decor layer (1) and which also has a weakening region (7) along the tear line. In order that the weakening in the decor layer (1) remains permanently invisible from the decor side (2), an intermediate layer (5) is further provided in the airbag cover of the invention which is arranged between the decor layer and the second layer.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 2005Date of Patent: August 2, 2011Assignee: Lisa Dräxlmaier GmbHInventors: Wilhelm Hehn, Georg Sigl

Patent number: 7490851Abstract: A vehicle door trim for a motor vehicle with a head impact protection device for a vehicle occupant is provided. In one embodiment, the door trim includes a curb carrier, a head impact protection device, a foam layer over the curb carrier and a decorative layer on the side of the foam layer facing away from the curb carrier. The curb carrier may include at least one fixing attachment for fixing the head impact protection device in an area in the assembled position of the vehicle door trim that is close to the side window of the vehicle door as well as a cover area that covers the head impact protection device. The head impact protection device may include as a module, an airbag carrier, an airbag and a gas generator. The foam layer may be sufficiently elastic to deform on actuation of the head impact protection device.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 2006Date of Patent: February 17, 2009Assignee: Lisa Dräxlmeier GmbHInventors: Christo Riester, Michael Dax, Friedrich Graf, Lutz Lehman, Georg Sigl, Marc Sieber, Thomas Sperl

Patent number: 7384063Abstract: A vehicle door trim for a motor vehicle with a head impact protection device for a vehicle occupant is provided. In one embodiment, the door trim includes a curb carrier of the vehicle door trim in which is located a cutout for fixing the head impact protection device in the assembled position of the vehicle door trim in an area close to the side window of the vehicle door, a head impact protection device, which comprises an airbag carrier joined to the curb carrier so as to be airtight, an airbag, which on the rim side is fixed to the airbag carrier so as to be airtight, and a gas generator, which may be permanently joined to the airbag carrier. The vehicle door trim covers a foam layer over the curb carrier and, in the area of the cutout, over the airbag carrier. A decorative layer on the side of the foam layer facing away from the curb carrier is provided. The foam layer is designed so that on actuation of the head impact protection device, it may lift easily from the airbag carrier.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 2006Date of Patent: June 10, 2008Assignee: Lisa Dräxlmaier GmbHInventors: Christoph Riester, Michael Dax, Friedrich Graf, Lutz Lehman, Georg Sigl, Marc Sieber, Thomas Sperl

Patent number: 5267176Abstract: Method for placing modules on a carrier. Modules, for example cells, are placed on a carrier, for example a chip, with the method. For placement, the modules are arranged such on the placement region of the carrier that the center of gravity of the modules falls onto the center coordinates of the placement region (global placement S1). Subsequently, the placement region is partitioned into sub-regions, modules are allocated to the sub-regions and the area of the sub-regions is defined in the ratio of the area of the modules allocated to these sub-regions (partitioning, S2). In the next step, a global placement is again carried out, i.e. the modules are arranged such in the sub-regions that the modules allocated to the sub-regions have their center of gravity falling onto the center coordinates of these sub-regions. The steps of global placement and of partitioning follow one another until only at most k modules are still present per sub-region.Type: GrantFiled: April 29, 1991Date of Patent: November 30, 1993Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Kurt Antreich, Frank Johannes, Jurgen Kleinhans, Georg Sigl
