    Abstract: The illustrated cluster of 12 various shaped segments permits use of one or more of the segments to graphically display numerals as written in the Arabic language (as distinct from the "Arabic numerals" used in the Western world). Thus the illustrated cluster can be used in devices such as calculators whereby selective energization of the segments permits the calculator to read out in the numeric system of the Arabic language.
