    Abstract: An electric resonator includes first and second pluralities of conductors which are disposed in side-by-side relationship to form a first layer of alternating first and second conductors. Additional layers of alternating first and second conductors are disposed atop the first layer such that each conductor of one of the pluralities is horizontally and/or vertically adjacent to conductors of the other plurality. The resulting resonator reduces undesirable capacitance between various conductors thereby increasing the quality factor, or Q, of the resonator.
