    Abstract: A manually operated outboard motor. A propeller is connected to a first shaft which is geared through plastic mitre gears to a further shaft. The further shaft is connected to a gear which, in turn, is driven by a gear connected to a crank extending from the top of the housing of the outboard motor. The crank includes a handle and the crank and handle are manually rotated which, in turn, rotates the propeller.
