  • Patent number: 5238108
Abstract: A dart case comprising a base member, a hinged cover member, and a latch. Both of the base and cover have recesses formed in their facing inner surfaces. Some of the recesses are used to hold dart accessories and a sharpening stone. Selected pairs of base and cover recesses are sized and located to be substantially coterminous so as to define flight compartments. Each flight compartment includes flight support members projecting toward one another from the cover and the base which support and protect the dart flights. The flight support members include inclined orthogonal surfaces so that the cover member may be pivoted and closed upon the base member without damaging the flights. Further features include a rotatable sector attached to the cover in order to hold accessories in the cover member when the cover is open. Lastly, the exterior of the case cover includes dart support pockets holding the darts accessible for display and use.

  • Patent number: 5072537
Abstract: A magazine catch assembly for a firearm includes a pair of opposing magazine catches supported for pivotal movement toward and away from each other between magazine retaining and releasing positions. In the magazine retaining position the magazine catches cooperate with a part of a magazine to releasably secure the magazine within a magazine well. A manually operable actuating member disposed between the catches and biased toward a first position corresponding to the magazine retaining position of the catches is moveable to a latching position corresponding to the releasing position of the catches in response to movement to its second position whereby the magazine is free to drop from the magazine well. Movement of a magazine out of the magazine well resets the magazine catches in magazine retaining position.

  • Patent number: 5068992
Abstract: A forearm assembly for a pump action shotgun includes an axially elongated forearm and a pair of action bars. The forward end of each action bar is received and retained within an associated complementary recess in the rear end portion of the forearm. A piston grip comprises part of the forearm assembly and is releasably secured in fixed position to the forearm in a selected one of a plurality of angularly spaced apart mounting positions by a single fastener to accommodate either a right or left handed shooter.

  • Patent number: 5056252
Abstract: A pump action shotgun loaded from a magazine tube has a box magazine which feeds successive rounds of ammunition into the magazine tube through an opening in the side of the tube. Each successive round of ammunition is fed from the magazine tube into the receiver of the gun by a plunger connected by a rack and pinion mechanism to an action bar which moves the breech bolt between its retired and battery positions. The rack and pinion mechanism maintains the plunger out of the path of a round of ammunition fed into the magazine tube from the box magazine when the breech bolt is in its battery position and moves the plunger through a distance greater than the distance between the retired and battery positions to move a round of ammunition from the magazine tube into the receiver when the breech bolt moves from its battery to its retired position. The box magazine is adjustable to accommodate shells of differing lengths.
