  • Patent number: 9173087
Abstract: The remote child monitor is an intelligent child seat presence, operator reminder, and emergency alert monitoring system and method that reduces the probability of a child properly secured in a vehicle baby seat being left unattended in a vehicle. The central monitoring device detects when the child is secured in the baby seat, communicates with the driver, the vehicle, and reminds the driver of the child being secured in the baby seat. Multiple layers of communication and back up operators are employed to further reduce the child being ignored. Communications include personal area network, local area network, and cellular networks GPS. Operators include primary, secondary, and emergency (911).

  • Publication number: 20150077255
Abstract: The invisible concealed weapon identification system and method implements a non-visible marking, locating, and tracking system for arms, weapons, and guns to be identified and tracked. The weapon marking is accomplished thru a radio frequency identification tag mounted under the handle or stock pad of the weapon. A radio frequency identification tag reader is mounted or hand operated at any entrance or gate of schools, work facility, or public gathering places. The radio frequency identification tag reader can be electronically tied into a local area network thru a computer. Additionally, the reader and network can be nationally linked thru a computer to such as “cloud” data base and information sharing system.

  • Publication number: 20140313056
Abstract: A system and method for enabling a mobile device in motion to perform near field radiation monitoring functions while implementing an alert for a companion (in vehicle or adjacent to) when potentially unsafe conditions due to mobile device distracted driving may be about to occur with or to companions. Also, providing alerts through near-field monitoring of mobile device transmissions to passing by vehicles with potentially unsafe distractions.

  • Publication number: 20140187230
Abstract: A system and method for centrally controlling a plurality of mobile communication device(s). The system and method provides for central control of mobile device(s) loading, configuring, security, reporting, and safety of said mobile device operation. The system and method will recognize, record, and report any bypass, hacking, or otherwise misuse of the mobile device that potentially affects safety by way of distraction of the operator or associated persons or personal property. Personal codes are provided for where device operation through “hands free” operation by such as Bluetooth headsets is appropriate or other exceptions. Emergency codes are provided for as such emergency operations may be necessary. All uses of preset codes (Emergency and Personal) are recognized, recorded, and reported to the pre-established central control address. Further, some devices can be blocked or restricted during work periods that are sensitive when communication is not allowed.

  • Patent number: 8340730
Abstract: A system and method for internally controlling a mobile communication system, the mobile communication system internally inhibiting communication of a mobile communication device when the communication device achieves a threshold of predetermined momentum, a motion monitoring routine internal to the mobile communication device initiates with device turn on and periodically updates momentum, inhibiting device usage if motion is sustained, when the motion monitoring routine does not detect device motion above the threshold no inhabitation is deployed and full usage including connection to a cellular network is available, a inhibit safety override is facilitated for emergencies or other circumstances, a time out of inhibit when motion has ceased below the threshold for a sustained period.
