  • Publication number: 20060150469
Abstract: An ice fishing trap comprising a main body supporting a rotatable spool for supporting a desired length of fishing line. An indicator, having both a set position and a triggered position, is supported by the main body. A release rod cooperates with the rotatable spool and, when the indicator is in its set position, and also cooperates with the indicator. The release rod has a first position in which the release rod captively retains the indicator in its set position and engages with the spool and the release rod has a second position, axially spaced from the first position, in which the release rod releases the indicator to permit the indicator to move to its triggered position, and rotation of the spool moves the release rod from its first position to its second position to actuate the indicator into its triggered position.

  • Publication number: 20060003306
Abstract: A hardware and software implemented, standardize testing, scoring and reporting system has a network interface, being either LAN or the Internet. A test is selected from a library, assigned to a group of examinees, and a record is made of the assignment. The test is available on-line, or downloaded, or both. Downloaded tests are saved as PDF files and printed into booklets. Examinees record answers on bubble sheets, which are scanned at the customer site or shipped to a processing plant. Individual scanned answer sheets provided data for individual scanned records. Scanning software performs an initial auto-correct and then performs an initial check for errors in scanned records. Tests are batched for later inspection. Scanned records with errors are classified as invalid and the test papers are separated. Prompts are generated for a human test paper inspection and scanned record editing.

  • Publication number: 20050059157
Abstract: The systems and methods described herein relate to the measurement of nitrate levels in a sample of gas, for example, air, exhaust, or other sources of gas. Moreover, the systems and methods described herein are capable of operating using short sample collection periods, permitting rapid data collection and finely time-resolved nitrate monitoring over a span of time. Additionally, ambient nitrate can effectively be distinguished from other airborne particles, such as sulfate and carbon.

  • Publication number: 20050027080
Abstract: Provided herein are propylene polymers which are capable of being used as thermoplastic polyolefins just as they emerge from the reactor system described, without further compounding of components which substantially modify the physical properties of the polymers, as such compounding is required of polymers of the prior art. Polymers according to the invention unexpectedly possess both low temperature ductility and high flexural modulus, which properties were related in inverse proportion to one another in the polymers of the prior art.

  • Publication number: 20040060218
Abstract: Novel point-of-purchase cantilevered deflectable display assemblies, which normally extend transversely into a shopping aisle. Display assemblies which accommodate substitution of one frame-carried form or configuration of advertising for another, which can be radically different, without disconnecting the entire display assembly from its mounting to a molding at a store shelf or like. The advertising frame with which the advertising medium is associated is removably connected to a hanger portion. The hanger portion accommodates the above-mentioned on-site frame and advertisement removal and exchange while the remainder of the display assembly remains in its shelf-mounted or like position. Display assemblies are disclosed which enhance the deflectable nature of the cantilevered distal part of the display assemblies, the manner in which pivoting occurs and is controlled or limited and the way in which the display assemblies are biased toward neutral in the assembled condition.

  • Patent number: 6608641
Abstract: A printer for printing color toner images on a receiver member of any of a variety of textures. The printer has a number of tandemly arranged electrophotographic image-forming modules respectively including a plurality of imaging subsystems to form a colored toner image transferred to a receiver member, the transfer of toner images from each of the modules forming a color print of the receiver member which is fused to form a desired color print. The image quality of the color print is produced by control of nonoperational co-optimization of fusing parameters and imaging subsystem parameters enabling printing on the variety of textures of receiver member.

  • Publication number: 20030138965
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to embodiments of systems for measuring nitrate levels. The systems disclosed herein may include a sample inlet to permit introduction of a gas sample from which nitrate levels may be measured and a filter downstream from the sample inlet to trap particles. A first heating zone to volatilize the trapped particles may be coupled to the filter. Situated between the filter and the sample inlet may be a gas inlet to provide a secondary stream of gas to be passed over the trapped particles to minimize oxidation of low nitrogen containing compounds during heating. Downstream from the filter may be a second heating zone to heat a pathway adjacent to the filter to minimize particles depositing on internal surfaces of the pathway, and downstream from the second heating zone may be an analyzer to measure nitrate levels of the gas sample downstream from the filter. Also disclosed herein are methods for measuring nitrate levels.
