  • Publication number: 20220094673
Abstract: Dynamic key cryptography validates mobile device users to cloud services by uniquely identifying the user's electronic device using a very wide range of hardware, firmware, and software minutiae, user secrets, and user biometric values found in or collected by the device. Processes for uniquely identifying and validating the device include: selecting a subset of minutia from a plurality of minutia types; computing a challenge from which the user device can form a response based on the selected combination of minutia; computing a set of pre-processed responses that covers a range of all actual responses possible to be received from the device if the combination of the particular device with the device's collected actual values of minutia is valid; receiving an actual response to the challenge from the device; determining whether the actual response matches any of the pre-processed responses; and providing validation, enabling authentication, data protection, and digital signatures.

  • Publication number: 20220058298
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for a computer aided design system for designing multilevel lattice structures. A coarse lattice module defines a coarse lattice of balls connected by beams within a first boundary. A fine lattice module defines a fine lattice of balls connected by beams within a second boundary. The coarse lattice and the fine lattice have intersecting regions. A trimming module constructs a multilevel lattice structure according to a trimming operation based on the intersecting regions.

  • Patent number: 11254461
Abstract: A label application system for applying paper non-pressure adhesive labels to relatively short, round, straight-walled articles is constructed and designed so that labels to be applied to passing articles are delivered to the label application zone on a vacuum conveyor in a short feed orientation, with each label being oriented lengthwise across a width of the vacuum conveyor. At the time of labeling, the label is held stationary on a flat vacuum surface, and the label is applied by spinning the articles past the vacuum surface. As a result, the system is capable of labeling articles at processing speeds of up to or exceeding 800 articles per minute.

  • Publication number: 20210210078
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are described herein for placing secondary content into a break of unknown duration in a stream of primary content. In one aspect, the described techniques may include streaming a segment of primary content, for example, by a reduce capability client device, such as a mobile device or tablet. The device may receive information indicative of a break in the streaming of the primary content. The device may play secondary content based on receiving the information indicative of the break. The device may determine when a next segment of the primary content is available, and begin streaming the next segment of the primary content upon detecting that the second segment of the primary content is available.

  • Publication number: 20210125606
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are described herein for placing secondary content into a break of unknown duration in a stream of primary content. In one aspect the described techniques may include receiving information indicative of a break in streaming of the primary content, such as metadata data that is inserted into the stream of primary content, for example, on a client device. A duration of the stream of the primary content may be obtained. Secondary content may be played, for example during a break in the streaming of the primary content. Upon detecting that the duration of the stream of the primary content has increased to a second duration, for example, in response to the client device receiving additional primary content, the primary content may be streamed.
