One embodiment of the invention includes a processor, and memory containing a client application. In addition, the client application configures the processor to: request a top level index file identifying a plurality of alternative streams of protected content, where each of the alternative streams of protected content are encrypted using common cryptographic information; obtain the common cryptographic information; request portions of content from at least the plurality of alternative streams of protected content; access the protected content using the common cryptographic information; and playback the content.

Abstract: A method for monitoring a production facility for a renewable fuel comprises the steps of: identifying certain operating parameters for the production facility; establishing a transform which models the production facility or a functional subsection thereof as a function of at least one operating condition, wherein the transform is based, in part, on the certain operating parameters; monitoring the at least one operating condition of the production facility by collecting data from a sensor; applying the transform to the data collected from the sensor to determine a status of the production facility; and communicating the status of the production facility to an interested party. The method may further comprise the step of determining whether the production rate over an defined time period is consistent with the registration of Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs) for the defined time period.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to systems and methods for accessing, managing, and exchanging patient information across a plurality of providers that may have various discrete medical record systems, including, but not limited to medical facilities, clinics, ambulatory emergency health systems, and other providers (e.g., heterogeneous healthcare providers). In various embodiments, the system receives a request from a requesting party for one or more records of a particular patient. In response, in one or more embodiments, the system identifies what information (if any) the requester is authorized to receive, retrieves the information the requester is authorized to receive from various discrete medical record systems, then normalizes and aggregates the retrieved information. In a particular embodiment, the system also denormalizes the data (e.g., converts the data to the local format and terms of the requester) before transmitting the retrieved data to the requester.

Abstract: Optoacoustic diagnostic systems, devices, and methods are described. A system may comprise a console unit and a handheld probe. The console unit comprises a controller, a processor, a photodiode array, an acoustic processing subsystem, and a cooling subsystem. The probe directs light signals from the photodiode array to patient tissue. The light signals each have different wavelengths selected based on the physiological parameter of interest. The probe further comprises an acoustic transducer that receives acoustic signals generated in response to the directed light signals. The probe may comprise a finger-held working end that can be directed to the skull of a fetus within the uterus during labor. The probe can then accurately determine blood oxygenation of the fetus to determine if a caesarian section is necessary.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a substantially cylindrical and hollow main body having an open end and a closed end and a bayonet component extending therein. The bayonet component has a shaft at least partially enclosed within the main body and a pair of opposing protrusions extending radially outside of the main body proximate to a first end of the shaft. The apparatus further includes a lever rotatably coupled to the main body proximate to the open end thereof, and the lever includes a locking recess selectively aligned with the open end of the main body. The apparatus also includes a resilient member enclosed within the main body between the closed end thereof and the first end of the shaft of the bayonet component, and the resilient member biases the bayonet component toward the lever. The bayonet component engages the locking recess to inhibit rotation of the lever relative to the main body.
