  • Patent number: 8743801
Abstract: The present invention relates to allowing configuring CSI reporting (step S-224, 310) on radio resources that are allocated over a plurality of sub frames on Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH). Allocation of said radio resources (steps S-202, 404) can be performed by semi-persistent allocation or by using Transmission Time Interval (TTI) bundling. By using either semi-persistent scheduling or TTI-bundling as decided by an eNB (104, 204, 600) the UE (102, 202, 500) can be configured to report CSI (step S-224, 310) for a plurality of UL transmissions. By allocating radio resources by using semi-persistent scheduling, the signaling overhead, which can be substantial for dynamic scheduling of radio resources, decreases. By using TTI-bundling the coverage of the CSI-reports increases.

Abstract: A system and method generating and distributing replica removal requests for objects in a distributed storage system is provided. Replica removal requests for objects in a distributed storage system are generated based at least in part on replication policies for the objects. A respective replica removal request instructs a respective instance of the distributed storage system to remove a respective replica of the respective object so as to at least partially satisfy replication policies for the respective object. Then the replica removal requests for the objects in the distributed storage system are distributed to respective instances of the distributed storage system corresponding to the replica removal requests for execution.

  • Patent number: 8745753
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that discover undesired advertisements on publisher web pages and automatically block advertisers or advertising channels associated with the placement of those advertisements from placing advertisements on the publisher web pages. An advertisement discovery and blocking system may discover advertisements on a particular publisher web page and placement pathways associated with those discovered advertisements. The system may then compare the discovered advertisements and placement pathways with a set of rules in an advertiser rule list. The system may detect advertisement violations based on the comparison of the set of rules in the advertiser rule list with the discovered advertisements and placement pathways. The system may add advertisers and advertising channels associated with the detected advertisement violations to a list of blocked advertisers. The list of blocked advertisers may be provided to the publishers and the advertising channels.
