  • Publication number: 20070088857
Abstract: Host software, such as device drivers, may be able to communicate through a platform interface with one another and with adjunct processors. This interface may be provided by enabling such communications to be snooped and then directed through an adjunct or service processor to sequestered memory locations. The sequestered memory locations may be associated with status registers to announce the availability of information transfers. In addition, the sequestered memory may be made relatively invisible to components running on the host system.

  • Publication number: 20070088554
Abstract: Method and System to update grammar information in a voice access system that provides access to a data system. A user interface (UI) is provided to enable an administrator to select UI object pertaining to a user interface provided by the data system to provide grammar update support for. The data system user interface corresponds to a UI that users would see if using computer client connection to the data system. XSLT style sheets are built based on the UI objects that are selected for grammar update. A grammar update request may then submitted that identifies a navigation context of the data system UI, a style sheet to apply, and an optional last update value. In response to receiving the request, the system retrieves data from the data system pertaining to the navigation context; and filters the data using the identified style sheet and the last update value and provides the filtered data back to the voice access system to update its grammar.

  • Publication number: 20070087254
Abstract: In one embodiment the present comprises an air inlet 2, a series of fuel cells 6, a new fuel inlet 14, a fuel distributor 16, a recirculation plenum 19, and an exhaust 12. Fresh fuel from the fuel distributor 16 enters the fuel cell stack in a middle-third section of the fuel cell stack, and the fresh fuel is divided into an exhaust fuel 12 flow and a recirculation fuel flow 18. The exhaust fuel flow passes along a first portion of the series of fuel cells to the exhaust, and the recirculation fuel flow passes along a second portion of the series of fuel cells to the recirculation plenum and mixes with new fuel from the new fuel inlet in the fuel distributor. The recirculation plenum is located at an opposite end of the fuel cell stack from the exhaust, and the fuel-cell stack is of a seal-less design.

  • Publication number: 20070084799
Abstract: A process using an electrical signal for electrokinetic floatation of solids and semi-solids in paint sludge water includes collecting the paint sludge water into a tank. The process further includes generating the electrical signal from a bottom of the tank to separate the solids and semi-solids from the water in the paint sludge water to induce electrokinetic floatation of the solids and semi-solids to a top surface in the tank. After separating the solids and semi-solids from the water, the process includes removing the solids and semi-solids from the tank.

  • Publication number: 20070084587
Abstract: The present invention relates to hybrid wicking materials for use in high performance heat pipes and other fields where a bi-modal distribution of pore sizes offers advantages over a homogeneous monolithic porous structure. In one aspect, the invention provides a wicking material for use in heat pipes. This wick is comprised of sintered metal powder formed on a foam, felt, screen or mesh metal substrate. A fine pore structure is formed by the metal powder while the substrate is comprised of large pores. The large pores are several times, preferably five times to several orders of magnitude larger in size than the small pores. The sintered powder metal and the metal substrate may be made of nickel, copper, molybdenum, niobium, aluminium, iron, cobalt, titanium and alloys based on these metals, and combinations thereof.

  • Publication number: 20070089200
Abstract: Compositions and methods for altering the levels of reversibly glycosylated polypeptide (RGP) in plants are provided. The present invention recognizes that by altering the level of expression of RGP, plants and seeds having beneficial qualities can be obtained. The invention involves controlled suppression of RGP expression to obtain plants and seeds having decreased amounts of hemicellulose and arabinose. Controlled suppression of RGP, particularly in vegetative tissues and seeds, leads to plants with desirable characteristics, including altered cell wall structure, reduced grain fiber content, increased seed protein, increased oil content, and altered arabinoxylan or xyloglucan levels. Compositions of the invention include constructs for the suppression of RGP and transformed plants and seeds having the altered phenotype of the invention.

  • Publication number: 20070089007
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and data processing system for determining test sequences' coverage of events in testing a semiconductor design are disclosed. Test patterns are randomly generated by one or more “frontend” computers. Results from applying these patterns to the design under test are transmitted to a “backend” computer in the form of an ordered dictionary of events and bitmap and/or countmap data structures. A “bitmap” data structure encodes Boolean information regarding whether or not a given event was covered by a particular test sequence. A “countmap” data structure includes frequency information indicating how many times a given event was triggered by a particular test sequence. The backend computer combines results from each test sequence in a cumulative fashion to measure the overall coverage of the set of test sequences.
