  • Publication number: 20230025926
Abstract: An overfill prevention valve for use with a tank includes a valve element disposed in a fluid fill path and a float assembly including an actuator and a repositionable float. The float is selectively fixed relative to and moveable relative to the actuator to adjust a target fill level. The float is buoyantly supported by the fluid such that the float and the actuator are shiftable in correspondence with an actual fill level. The actuator is coupled with the valve element such that the valve element shifts to a closed position when the actual fill level nears a target fill level. The float includes discrete buoyant components that are shiftable away from each other and from the actuator to facilitate shifting of the float relative to the actuator and that are securable relative to each other and relative to the actuator to facilitate operation of the float assembly.

  • Patent number: 11551782
Abstract: The present invention provides algorithm-based molecular assays that involve measurement of expression levels of genes from a biological sample obtained from a kidney cancer patient. The present invention also provides methods of obtaining a quantitative score for a patient with kidney cancer based on measurement of expression levels of genes from a biological sample obtained from a kidney cancer patient. The genes may be grouped into functional gene subsets for calculating the quantitative score and the gene subsets may be weighted according to their contribution to cancer recurrence.

  • Publication number: 20220317025
Abstract: A non-destructive opto-acoustic metrology device detects the presence and location of non-uniformities in a film stack that includes a large number, e.g., 50 or more, transparent layers. A transducer layer at the bottom of the film stack produces an acoustic wave in response to an excitation beam. A probe beam is reflected from the layer interfaces of the film stack and the acoustic wave to produce an interference signal that encodes data in a time domain from destructive and constructive interference as the acoustic wave propagates upward in the film stack. The data may be analyzed across the time domain to determine the presence and location of one or more non-uniformities in the film stack. An acoustic metrology target may be produced with a transducer layer configured to generate an acoustic wave with a desired acoustic profile based on characteristics of the film stack.

  • Publication number: 20220305292
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for rapidly delivering high doses of radiation, also known as, flash dose radiotherapy or flash radiotherapy. One variation of a system for flash radiotherapy has a plurality of therapeutic radiation sources on a support structure (e.g., a gantry or arm) and configured to toward a patient target region, and a controller in communication with all of the therapeutic radiation sources. The controller is configured to activate the plurality of therapeutic radiation sources simultaneously so that the patient target region rapidly receives a high dose of radiation, e.g. the entire prescribed dose of radiation. In some variations, a flash radiotherapy system has a pulsed, high-power source that may be used to generate an X-ray pulse that delivers a dose having a dose rate from about 7.5 Gy/s to about 70 Gy/s. Flash radiotherapy systems may also include one or more imaging systems mounted on the support structure.

  • Publication number: 20220075260
Abstract: Vacuum-integrated photoresist-less methods and apparatuses for forming metal hardmasks can provide sub-30 nm patterning resolution. A metal-containing (e.g., metal salt or organometallic compound) film that is sensitive to a patterning agent is deposited on a semiconductor substrate. The metal-containing film is then patterned directly (i.e., without the use of a photoresist) by exposure to the patterning agent in a vacuum ambient to form the metal mask. For example, the metal-containing film is photosensitive and the patterning is conducted using sub-30 nm wavelength optical lithography, such as EUV lithography.

  • Patent number: 11162897
Abstract: A metrology device that can determine at least one characteristics of a sample is disclosed. The metrology device includes an optical system that uses spatially coherent light with a first and a second objective lens as well as a detector that detects light reflected from the sample. The objective lenses use numerical apertures sufficient to produce a small probe size, e.g., less than 200 ?m, while a spatial filter is used to reduce the effective numerical aperture of the optical system as seen by the detector to avoid loss of information and demanding computation requirements caused by the large angular spread due to large numerical apertures. The spatial filter permits light to pass in a desired range of angles, while blocking the remaining light and is positioned to prevent use of the full spatial extent of at least one of the first objective lens and the second objective lens.
