  • Publication number: 20180156597
Abstract: A white light interferometric metrology device operates in the image plane and objective pupil plane. The interferometric metrology device extracts the electric field with complex parameters and that is a function of azimuth angle, angle of incidence and wavelength from interferometric data obtained from the pupil plane. Characteristics of the sample are determined using the electric field based on an electric field model of the azimuth angle, the angle of incidence and the wavelength that is specific for a zero diffraction order. A center of the pupil in the pupil plane may be determined based on a Fourier transform of the interferometric data at each new measurement and used to convert each pixel from the camera imaging the objective pupil plane into a unique set of angle of incidence and azimuth angle of light incident on the sample.

  • Publication number: 20180074526
Abstract: An overfill prevention system for use with a liquid storage tank includes a valve assembly defining a downwardly open liquid discharge opening. A pilot tube is fixed relative to and projects downwardly relative to the valve assembly. The pilot tube defines an internal channel in fluid communication with the valve assembly and a discharge hole spaced downwardly from the valve assembly and in fluid communication with the internal channel and the tank. A float is buoyantly shiftable along the pilot tube between an open position in which the float exposes the discharge hole when liquid within the tank is below a predetermined level, and a closed position in which the float covers the discharge hole when liquid within the tank reaches or exceeds the predetermined level. A flow diverter is disposed between the discharge opening and the float to deflect liquid from the discharge opening away from the float.

  • Patent number: 9865501
Abstract: Method and apparatus for reducing metal oxide surfaces to modified metal surfaces are disclosed. By exposing a metal oxide surface to a remote plasma, the metal oxide surface on a substrate can be reduced to pure metal and the metal reflowed. A remote plasma apparatus can treat the metal oxide surface as well as cool, load/unload, and move the substrate within a single standalone apparatus. The remote plasma apparatus includes a processing chamber and a controller configured to provide a substrate having a metal seed layer in a processing chamber, form a remote plasma of a reducing gas species where the remote plasma includes radicals, ions, and/or ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the reducing gas species, and expose a metal seed layer of the substrate to the remote plasma to reduce oxide of the metal seed layer to metal and to reflow the metal.

  • Publication number: 20180004083
Abstract: Vacuum-integrated photoresist-less methods and apparatuses for forming metal hardmasks can provide sub-30 nm patterning resolution. A metal-containing (e.g., metal salt or organometallic compound) film that is sensitive to a patterning agent is deposited on a semiconductor substrate. The metal-containing film is then patterned directly (i.e., without the use of a photoresist) by exposure to the patterning agent in a vacuum ambient to form the metal mask. For example, the metal-containing film is photosensitive and the patterning is conducted using sub-30 nm wavelength optical lithography, such as EUV lithography.

  • Publication number: 20170225062
Abstract: An apparatus that secures a skateboard platform to a snow ski with a base that has a sliding member and stationary member. An adjustment mechanism urges the sliding member to move toward or away from the stationary member. A stabilizer is movable toward and way from the sliding member via a guide path in the base. The stabilizer has two components that move one inside the other to lengthen or shorten a distance between their respective ends. The sliding member has a protruding portion that fits into a front snow ski binding. The stationary member snaps into the rear snow ski binding. • Patent number: 9723108
Abstract: An Application Media Package is a software component for accessing and displaying Internet content which includes a definition for rendering a graphical user interface and a URL pointing to Internet content to be downloaded and presented within said user interface. An Application Media Viewer may be used in association with an Application Media Package to manage the collection, organization, sharing, and rendering of a plurality of such Packages. A development server supports the community of Application Media Package developers, providing developer tools, including Package templates which provide an expedient method of re-purposing existing internet media into a new presentation package by choosing from existing examples. Access to tools and information may be controlled at the development server. The development server may also provide a development and test zone for Package verification, authentication and acceptance before posting.

  • Publication number: 20170161343
Abstract: Deriving information from data is essential to making use of the data prevalent in most aspects of our lives. Currently, we have three standard options in deriving information from the data: average, median, and standard deviation. Each comes with its own flaws, however. Taking an average over simplifies the data. For example, two sets of greatly different data can produce same result: (1, 3, 26)=10 and (10, 10, 10)=10. Medians can be used to solve some problems with taking averages, but you waste data in the process by simply excluding it from analysis. Standard Deviations give you some degree of accounting for deviation in the set, but it can only calculate a range in which the true result lies. Embodiments of the present disclosure may provide a Triangulated Data Score (TDS). TDS gives you beyond a simple average, includes more data than a median, and eliminates guess works of a range.

  • Publication number: 20170118305
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to users viewing and referring cards of content to other users. A user may refer a card by endorsing the card. By friending other users, users form a social network. Thus, a user may refer a card to friends, friends of friends, and other users. Cards may include one or more card tallies that are specific to a particular user. Card tallies may refer to the number of friends, of the particular user, that have endorsed the card, the number of friends of friends that have endorsed the card, and other users that have endorsed the card. By viewing the card tallies, the particular user may determine a utility of the card based on the number of the user's friends that have endorsed the card, the number of friends of friends that have endorsed the card, and the number of other users that have endorsed the card.
