Abstract: Wearable computing devices and methods for automatically capturing images using an image sensor of a wearable computing device are described. In one example, the wearable computing device includes a device body, an image sensor, an output device, a display, and a processor, and the processor is configured to initialize and monitor a timer and, in response to determining that a predetermined time interval less a predetermined alert period has elapsed, activate an output device of the wearable computing device. The processor is also configured to, in response to determining that the predetermined time interval has elapsed, activate the image sensor to capture at least one image.
