  • Patent number: 4222418
Abstract: Flail members are mounted on a rotatable drum by providing a plurality of angularly spaced rows of longitudinally spaced openings in the drum. A tube rectangular in cross section extends through each opening and is secured rigidly to the drum for receiving a clevis with a sliding fit with the inner end of a flail member being attached to the clevis. Transverse openings through the walls of the tube and the legs of the clevis are aligned with each other in a direction longitudinally of the drum for receiving a rod which extends inwardly of the drum and longitudinally thereof. • Patent number: 4206536
Abstract: Permanent repair of a rusted pinchweld in the windshield securing channel of an automobile is effected by replacement of the rusted portion with a highly malleable repair panel of novel design. The repair panel has a generally Z-shaped cross section and dimensions compatible with the pinchweld of an automobile. The panel is secured to unrusted pinchweld by any suitable means and rendered leakproof by suitable body repair procedures. The reconstructed pinchweld offers a base for windshield replacement closely approximating the original construction. Further degeneration is checked by rendering the entire repaired structure leakproof with proper installation techniques.
