  • Patent number: 8412678
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing business continuity services after a disaster or other loss of data are provided. The system and methods include accessing, replicating, and storing customer data. In the event of a disaster or other loss of data, the stored data is used to create fully recovered systems. The systems and methods provide for a remote data center that offers protection against physical disasters. The systems and methods include providing a virtual recovered operating system environment identical to the source operating system environment in less than 8 hours after notification of a disaster.

  • Publication number: 20110289046
Abstract: The invention relates to systems and methods for archiving business objects, particularly unstructured information from email and journaling agents and file systems. The systems and methods include a remotely installed archiving agent on a target server connected via VPN to a source system at a client location. The target servers are located at a remote Tier IV, SAS70 certified data center that is staffed by operators monitoring the archive process. The systems and methods include the movement of data from individual target servers to individual SQL servers to a data warehouse which provides support for a web portal. This web portal allows for enhanced search capabilities across different file types of archived business objects.

  • Patent number: 6182995
Abstract: The invention provides for the management and protection of excess lengths of utility cables in extendable semi-trailers. Utility cables are affixed to the front and rear sections of an extendable semi-trailer and are threaded through a protective carrier that can bend in only one direction. This directionally restrained carrier rests within a channel that shields the carrier and the cables from wear and tear and which constrains the bending of the carrier to one trans-channel turn. As the trailer is extended, the front and rear sections of the trailer and therefore the ends of the cables and carrier will move relative to one another. The cables and carrier move within the channel from a generally “U”-shaped pattern to a generally “J”-shaped pattern as the trailer moves from the retracted to the extended position.

  • Patent number: 4790484
Abstract: Spreading apparatus for attachment to a vehicle for distributing granular materials such as fertilizer and the like, using air as the distributing medium. The spreading apparatus includes a rear-mounted boom and an air system in which the material distribution passageways are substantially straight from the discharge of the fans to the point of material introduction to the discharge nozzles along the boom. This is achieved by the use of two blowers that move air in opposite directions through a cross-over tube array into which the already-divided material is introduced into individual air passageways leading to the discharge nozzles mounted along the boom. The boom itself is designed so that it can be quickly and easily folded and pivoted for storage or transport.
