Abstract: A flow splitter may include an inlet, at least two outlets, and an internal vane comprising a first end corresponding to the inlet and a second end corresponding to the at least two outlets, wherein the internal vane is configured to turn, between the first end and the second end, an internal flowing fluid from 0 degrees to a degree between about 60 degrees and 150 degrees. Methods of dividing fluid flow are also provided.

Abstract: A method implemented by one or more computer servers associated with a financial services platform includes receiving a request to provision a secondary user account for financial capabilities through sponsorship by a primary user account. The secondary user account can be provisioned only upon creation of the primary user account. In response to receiving a confirmation to provision the secondary user account, the method includes provisioning the primary user account and then the secondary user account. The method includes generating a credit account for the primary and secondary user accounts, and generating a deposit account for the primary user account. The primary user owns the deposit account, which holds funds to secure repayment of balances of the credit accounts. The method includes generating one virtual spending card for each of the credit accounts, in which the virtual spending cards service transactions with respect to the primary and secondary user accounts.

Abstract: A rest for a vehicle for supporting the feet and/or legs of a passenger comprising a housing (2) having an electrically powered pivotal lid (3) and defining a storage. The lid may be pivoted between an open position in which access to the storage is permitted and support provided for the feet and/or calves of the passenger and a closed position. The rest is mounted for movement in a passenger footwell on a pair of rails and a motorised pinion (11) runs on a rack (10) to move the rest up and down the rails (9). The arrangement provides a comfortable adjustable leg/foot support which is especially beneficial on long journeys. At same time accessible and convenient extra storage is provided.

Abstract: A facsimile scene typically includes a plurality of lines, each line having a plurality of picture elements (pels). Often, pel signals are adaptable for run-length coding, a run being one or more successive pels having the same brightness level. To increase the length of a run and hence to permit a more efficient use of a transmission link, a processor is disclosed for permuting a measure of the pel signals responsive to a reference signal. Illustratively, the reference signal is the pel signal from a previous line. In one exemplary bi-level pel signal embodiment, the measure is the current pel signal. Specifically, if the reference pel signal is a logic one, the current pel signal is loaded beginning at one end of a memory; if the reference pel signal is a logic zero, the current pel signal is loaded beginning at the other end of the memory. In a second embodiment, the measure is an error signal for indicating a difference between the reference signal and the current pel signal.
