  • Patent number: 10432666
Abstract: A method of policy management in a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) system uses a policy model that associates a user with one or more DLP endpoints. When an endpoint is added to the system, a set of policies for that endpoint are determined using an identity of the user that is associated with the endpoint and a list of roles or groups for that user. At policy distribution time, the method determines a set of endpoints to which the policy is to be distributed.

  • Patent number: 10320085
Abstract: A high efficiency short backfire antenna (SBFA) includes a cylindrical reflector and a feed structure. The conductive cylindrical reflector is configured to collect or to radiate electromagnetic waves. The cylindrical reflector has a reflector base and a reflector wall. The feed structure is electromagnetically coupled to the cylindrical reflector. • Patent number: 9742522
Abstract: A system for interference suppression onboard a satellite includes a beamforming module that processes radio-frequency (RF) signals originated from a plurality of antenna elements of an array antenna to generate multiple analog signals. At least one of the analog signals is an anti-interference signal. Analog-to-digital converters convert the analog signals to a number of digital signals. A processing module processes the digital signals to generate a phase and amplitude control signal. A summation module generates one or more composite signals with reduced interference.

  • Patent number: 9134983
Abstract: An endpoint machine has a unique endpoint identifier based on a configurable set of hardware attributes for an endpoint type. The endpoint agent running on that machine has an associated software identifier registered with the endpoint management solution upon install. The management server generates the unique endpoint identifier and provides it to the endpoint agent. Periodically, checks are run on the endpoint by the endpoint agent to determine if any of the hardware attributes have changed. If so, the endpoint identifier and the new hardware attribute values are sent to the management server, which uses the information to recognize the endpoint as the same endpoint or to detect a clone of known endpoint. If the endpoint type is unknown or does not exist, the unique software identifier may be used to facilitate the identification process, including the ability to detect a cloned machine.

  • Publication number: 20150123843
Abstract: A system for interference suppression onboard a satellite may include an antenna that is configured to receive uplink signals from a ground-coverage area and to generate a first signal. A spot-beam antenna may be configured to receive interference signals and to generate a second signal. A processor may be configured to receive the first signal from the antenna and the second signal from the spot-beam antenna and to perform a cross-correlation to generate a composite signal that includes a null at an interference frequency. The antenna may be a shaped reflector antenna and the spot-beam antenna may be a parabolic reflector antenna.

  • Patent number: 8607322
Abstract: A method and a system are presented in which federated domains interact within a federated environment. Domains within a federation can initiate federated single-sign-on operations for a user at other federated domains. A point-of-contact server within a domain relies upon a trust proxy within the domain to manage trust relationships between the domain and the federation. Trust proxies interpret assertions from other federated domains as necessary. Trust proxies may have a trust relationship with one or more trust brokers, and a trust proxy may rely upon a trust broker for assistance in interpreting assertions. When a user is provisioned at a particular federated domain, the federated domain can provision the user to other federated domains within the federated environment. A provision operation may include creating or deleting an account for a user, pushing updated user account information including attributes, and requesting updates on account information including attributes.

  • Publication number: 20040077186
Abstract: A watertight connector assembly includes a flat, flexible electrical cable completely encased in an elastomer coating, except at predetermined access openings configured to provide access to the cable. The access openings are defined by O-ring type seals formed in the coating on the surfaces of the cable near each end of the cable. Strain reliefs are positioned within the O-ring type seals. Electrical connectors are positioned within the access openings and configured to provide electrical coupling to the cable and to an external device. Compression pads are positioned adjacent the cable opposite the side of the cable having the electrical connector positioned adjacent thereto. This connector assembly is capable of withstanding harsh environments in compliance with environmental and vibration military specifications.

  • Patent number: 6239725
Abstract: A landing guidance system is disclosed for use with helicopters or other aircraft during the terminal phase of approach to a marine structure, such as a moving ship at sea. Signals from shipboard pitch and roll position sensors are routed to a signal processor that computes stabilization corrections which, in turn, are applied to a multi-axis electromechanical system that moves internal elements of an optical system to compensate for motion of a shipboard platform resulting in a stabilized optical presentation in inertial space to the pilot of an approaching aircraft. A dual display is provided through the use of a spectral beam splitter that allows both an infrared and visible display to be presented to an approaching pilot. This allows the pilot to use the display with and without night vision devices. The visible energy display to the pilot is color-coded with three distinct colors.

  • Patent number: 5952026
Abstract: A potato chip having no added fat and process for preparation thereof, wherein a slice of undehydrated fresh potato having no added fat and no coating of globular protein and having a thickness of about 1 to about 3 millimeters is heated in a microwave oven at high intensity, with periodic heating separated by periodic cooling for a period of time sufficient to produce a product having essentially the same flavor, color and crispness as potato slices fried in deep fat. The resulting potato chip has substantially reduced calories as compared with potato chips fried in deep fat or oil, and has essentially the same low fat content as uncooked potatoes. Optionally, the slice may be coated with a non-globular protein coating prior to microwave heating. Such a coating may include salt, non-globular protein, flavorants, spices, and/or vitamin additives, as desired, but preferably does not contain any fat which would increase the fat and calorie content of the finished potato chip.

  • Patent number: 4095664
Abstract: A power plant and drive system for an automotive vehicle includes a constant speed 120 volt 3 phase AC motor which is coupled to the drive shaft of the vehicle through a magnetic particle clutch. The 120 volt 3 phase AC motor receives energy from a 120 volt AC alternator which is coupled to the motor through a one to three phase converter and connected in tandem to three 12 V DC alternators. The system further includes a battery driven 12 volt DC motor and a 5 cubic inch gas motor. Some of the energy generated by the 12 volt DC alternators is used to recharge the batteries that power the 12 volt DC motor. In normal operation, the alternators are driven solely by the 12 volt DC motor; however, when the voltage in the batteries becomes lower than 6 volts the alternators are driven solely by the gas motor, thus allowing the batteries to recharge to their normal level. Speed control of the vehicle is achieved by varying the coupling strength of the magnetic particle clutch.
