Abstract: An electrophotographic printing machine in which an electrostatic latent image recorded on a photoconductive surface is developed with a liquid developer material comprising at least a liquid carrier having marking particles therein. The liquid developer material is furnished to the electrostatic latent image recorded on the photoconductive surface in a development zone to develop the latent image. Marking particles are substantially uniformly dispersed in the liquid carrier of the liquid developer material at the entrance to the development zone so as deflocculate the marking particles.
