    Abstract: A flexible innerduct structure configured to divide a cable conduit, as well as methods for inserting the innerduct structure and the cable into a conduit. The innerduct structure includes a flat, flexible strip-shaped material having a width at least slightly greater than the diameter of the conduit into which the innerduct structure is installed. Other principal features relate to the material of which the innerduct structure is formed. Such features include the structure of the material, such as a woven structure, and further include properties such as melting point, tensile strength, elongation, coefficient of friction and rigidity.

    Abstract: A composite facer material for use with cementitious wallboards, where the composite facer is embedded in a top and bottom face thereof. The composite facer material, in a most preferred embodiment, comprises two layers. The first layer is preferably a carded polyester nonwoven mat, which is bonded to a second layer comprising preferably a tri-directional laid scrim fabric reinforcement layer made of continuous glass fibers. The two layers are preferably bonded together using an acrylic adhesive, which offers superior adhesion between the layers as well as superior adhesion between the composite facing material and the cementitious core.

    Abstract: A conduit sleeve structure for use with fiber optic cables, coaxial cables and the like includes a pair of adjacent strip-shaped layers of flexible material that are joined along their longitudinal edges to define a channel through which the cable can extend longitudinally through the innerduct structure between the layers. The adjacent layers have differing widths between their longitudinal edges, whereby the wider layer bulges away from the narrower layer to impart an open configuration to the channel. It has been found that the conduit sleeve structure may be manufactured more efficiently and inexpensively if multiple sheets and pull cords are stacked and arranged in such a way that multiple conduit sleeve structures may be manufactured simultaneously in a parallel arrangement. The method of manufacturing the conduit sleeve structures includes feeding several stacked sheets through a folding machine or mechanism, a stitching machine, and then a slitting machine.

    Abstract: A composite textile structure is provided. the composite structure includes a woven base fabric of elastomeric yarns wherein the yarns running in one direction are bicomponent sheath/core elastomeric monofilament yarns wherein the sheath has a melting point below that of the core. The bicomponent yarns are melt bonded to yarns running in a perpendicular direction by melting of the sheath. The woven base fabric is joined to a knit cover fabric by an elastomeric bond preferably formed through the lamination of an elastomeric adhesive web between the cover fabric and the base fabric.

    Abstract: A reinforced knitted fabric structure useful as a support member in a seating structure is provided. The reinforced knitted fabric structure has a base matrix of warp knitted yarns with elastomeric yarns running at least in the direction of the warp knitted yarns. Weft insertion yarns run through the base matrix in a direction transverse to the warp knitted yarns. The elastomeric yarns have an elongation at break of not less than about 70 percent.
