  • Publication number: 20070005526
Abstract: Scenario representation manipulation methods, scenario analysis devices, articles of manufacture, and data signals are described according to some aspects. In one aspect, a scenario representation manipulation method includes accessing a graphical representation comprising a plurality of nodes and a plurality of associations of the nodes, wherein the nodes and the associations of the nodes are indicative of a scenario, providing a plurality of defined structural arrangements, wherein the defined structural arrangements comprise a plurality of nodes and associations of the nodes, analyzing the nodes and associations of the nodes of the graphical representation using the defined structural arrangements, and generating another representation of the graphical representation responsive to the analyzing.

  • Publication number: 20060287910
Abstract: Scenario analysis methods, scenario analysis devices, articles of manufacture, and data signals are described according to some aspects. In one aspect, a scenario analysis method includes accessing a representation of a first scenario, accessing a plurality of representations of a plurality of second scenarios, analyzing the representation of the first scenario with respect to the representations of the second scenarios, determining a plurality of relationships of the representation of the first scenario with respect to respective ones of the representations of the second scenarios responsive to the analyzing, and ranking the relationships.

  • Patent number: 5250161
Abstract: Potentially hazardous compositions containing solid combustible fuels, oxidants, nitro-containing, nitramine-containing or nitrato-containing compounds and, in many cases, binders are desensitized by electrolysis at low current and over an extended period of time. According to one disclosed method, compositions containing binders are first oxidized at the anode to cause decomposition and swelling of the binder, followed by further oxidation of the remaining components of the composition or switching of the polarity to cause reduction, as needed. According to another disclosed method, the composition is retained in a reaction vessel separate from the electrolysis cell, and the aqueous leachant from the composition is circulated in two portions through the two halves of the electrolysis cell to form strong oxidizing and reducing reagents, respectively, which are then circulated in succession through the reaction vessel to decompose the composition.
