Patent number: 8220125Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly aid for positioning a hinge (1) on a door arrangement part (12) in a reproducible manner, said assembly aid comprising a clamping screw (22) having a screw shank (23) and a screw head (21), and an adjusting element (20) which is applied to a part (17) of the hinge (1) in a positively locking manner. The adjusting element (20) radially engages with said screw shank (23) and can be axially fixed to the door arrangement part (12) by means of the clamping screw (22). The invention also relates to a method for the reproducible positioning of a hinge (1) on a door arrangement part (12) whereon a positioning axis (30) is provided. The aim of the invention is to provide an assembly aid and a method that enable a hinge to be precisely positioned in a simple and reproducible manner.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 2004Date of Patent: July 17, 2012Assignee: Edscha AGInventors: Joerg Paulus, Georg Dell

Patent number: 8123586Abstract: An exercise gaming device in which the user stands in front of a housing having a plurality of rows of lights extending from the front of the housing to the rear of the housing. The rows of lights are sequentially illuminated to give the illusion that the lights are an illuminated light rope over which the user must jump. There is a sensor in the jump area that is electrically connected to the illuminated lights to determine if the user jumps at the correct time when the lights at the bottom of the housing are illuminated. The device continues to rotate the light rope as long as the user continues jumping at the appropriate time, or until the game ends.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 2007Date of Patent: February 28, 2012Assignee: Dell Electronics Laboratories, Ltd.Inventor: George Dell

Patent number: 7908712Abstract: The invention relates to a hinge for a vehicle door, comprising a first hinge part that can be fixed to the door or the door frame, a second hinge part which is fixed to the other of the two components, i.e. the door frame or the door, and a hinge pin that defines a swiveling axis of the hinge and pivotally connects the first hinge part and the second hinge part to each other. The hinge pin is arranged nonrotably on the first hinge part or the second hinge part while being rotatably mounted in the other hinge part. The hinge further comprises an end stop which limits an opening movement of the first hinge part and the second hinge part. In order to create a hinge that allows the vehicle door to be opened securely, an adjusting mechanism which is assigned to the first hinge part or the second hinge part is provided for adjusting the end stop.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2005Date of Patent: March 22, 2011Assignee: Edscha AGInventors: Stephen Rudzewski, Dietmar Schreiber, Mehrdad Haji Zadeh Armaki, Georg Dell

Patent number: 6851159Abstract: The invention relates to a door hinge for a door of a vehicle. The inventive hinge comprises a first and a second guiding arrangement (7, 20; 7, 30, 31) for fixing at least one holding position for the door hinge. Said hinge also comprises a first and a seond free end (19) which engage with the first and second guiding arrangements. Said ends belong to a spring element (16). The aim of the invention is to provide a door hinge that is constructed in a compact manner and reliably enables to fix the door hinge, whereby moments crosswise in relation to the swivelling axis are prevented. To this end, the first free end (19) and the second free end (19) respectively are arranged in a mirror-inverted manner in relation to each other and at the remaining halve (3) of the hinge.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 2000Date of Patent: February 8, 2005Assignee: Edscha AGInventors: Zeljko Nikolic, Georg Dell, Richard Morawetz

Patent number: 4819818Abstract: There is provided a micro-computer driven random data selection system. The processor of this system is arranged to read a matrix of switches to determine a range of numbers and to establish a software controlled sequencing routine corresponding to this range. The interrupt terminal of the micro-computer is used to sense the activation of the system and causes the number selection. The software of the present invention presets the internal counters to the requisite range in response to the status of the switch matrix and displays that range in one of the two LED displays. Following sensing of the range, the computer starts the sequencing or counting and continuously sequences until deactivated. When the "roll" switch is operated, the computer samples and displays the last number in the sequence. Data for controlling the displays and loading the counter is stored in memory locations and the address for this data is developed from an index generated from the switch matrix inputs.Type: GrantFiled: May 8, 1987Date of Patent: April 11, 1989Assignee: John J.
