    Abstract: A seal between a surface and an edge or further surface movable with respect to the first surface in a plane parallel to it. A sealing member projects from a seal housing and can move through a predetermined distance with respect to the housing. The sealing member is resiliently urged into the position in which it projects as far as possible beyond the housing.
