    Abstract: An easily adjustable anti-tipping device for a wheelchair. The device is arranged so that a knob or lever adjacent the foot of the handicapped person can be turned to rotate the anti-tipping bar to its useful position. The device may be added to the tubular lower rail of an existing wheelchair by extending a rod through the lower rail and attaching it to the anti-tipping bar.
