  • Patent number: 5322766
Abstract: A color negative photographic recording material is described in which low emulsion coverage tabular grain silver halide emulsion imaging units are employed. The silver halide emulsion in at least one of the units comprises grains having a tabularity of between about 50 and 25,000. The imaging unit thickness is less than about 4.0 .mu.m, using a total of no more than 2.0 parts by weight of silver per part of coupler. The imaging unit yields a density of at least 2.0 when exposed and processed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 19, 1993
Date of Patent: June 21, 1994
    Assignee: Eastman Kodak Company
Inventors: Allan F. Sowinski, George F. Wu, Thomas B. Brust, James T. Kofron, Gary L. House
