  • Publication number: 20110163170
Abstract: A high pressure water injection humidifier includes a a high pressure pump driven by a stepper motor, which provides pressurized water to a plurality of exit nozzles, each exit nozzle having a precision orifice that atomizes the pressurized water into a mist, where the volume rate of the mist is dependent only on the motor speed and the diameter of the precision orifice. Proper nozzle flow can be determined by monitoring the torque of the stepper motor.
    Type: Application

  • Patent number: 7934702
Abstract: A high pressure water injection humidifier includes a filtration system to filter suspended particles from an incoming water supply and provide filtered water to a high pressure pump driven by a constant speed motor, which in turn provides pressurized water to a plurality of exit nozzles, each exit nozzle having a precision orifice that atomizes the pressurized water into a mist, where the volume rate of the mist is dependent only on the motor speed and the diameter of the precision orifice. Proper nozzle flow can be determined by monitoring the drive current to the constant speed motor.

  • Publication number: 20110095622
Abstract: An electrical device configured to install within a wall mounted electrical box includes an antenna bezel frame, an antenna element, and a radio frequency circuitry component. At least a portion of the antenna bezel frame is configured to protrude through an opening in a faceplate. The antenna element is mounted to the antenna bezel frame such that the antenna element is located a distance forward of a plane that contains a front surface of the faceplate when the field configurable electrical device is installed. The radio frequency circuitry component is in electrical communication with the antenna element and is configured to receive a control signal from the antenna element.

  • Publication number: 20100291880
Abstract: A portable RF wireless device (41), such as a microphone, is provided with an infrared beacon in order to signal a connection request to a wireless communication access point (48) using a first IR code (401). In response to this first IR code, the wireless communication access point broadcasts an RF inquiry message (101) that is responded (102) to by the portable RF wireless device in order to establish an RF communication link. After the RF communication link is established, the portable RF wireless device conditionally transmits a second IR code to verify that it is still collocated in the local vicinity of the wireless communication access point, such as being in the same room.

  • Publication number: 20100290788
Abstract: A teacher microphone (30) is provided with an infrared (IR) transmitter to signal a connection request to a wireless audio access point (50) using a first IR request inquiry signal (331). In response to this first IR code, the wireless audio access point establishes a first RF communication link (300). After the first RF communication link is established, the teacher microphone conditionally transmits a first IR presence signal (332) to verify that it is still collocated in the local vicinity of the wireless audio access point, such as being in the same room. The wireless audio access point is capable of maintaining a connection with additional portable wireless devices, such as a student microphone (40).

  • Publication number: 20100214756
Abstract: A dual function air-gap switch actuator (26) is incorporated into the generally planar face of a wall box dimmer. The switch actuator is finger operated and provides both a main power disconnect via air-gap contacts (211) and the means (212) to activate a secondary function. The dual function air-gap switch actuator is optionally fitted with an indicator lamp (265).

  • Publication number: 20100101607
Abstract: A bicycle sprocket chain cleaning and lubrication apparatus allows a sprocket chain (3) to be cleaned while still mounted on the bicycle. The apparatus includes a includes a housing (10) for enclosing the sprocket chain on all sides consisting of mutually connectable upper half-shell (11) and lower half-shell (12) portions and a securement assembly which includes a mounting plate adapted to attach to a rear wheel quick disconnect of the bicycle. The housing is suspended from the sprocket chain and provides a funnel shaped solvent hopper (17), a hose connection (21) to a compressed air supply, and an air knife (23) adapted to direct high velocity air to impinge upon and thereby dry the sprocket chain.
