  • Patent number: 8561926
Abstract: A vertical shaft impact crusher for crushing material including a rotor for accelerating a first flow of material to be crushed, a first feed device for feeding the first flow of material to the rotor, a housing that includes a circumferential impact wall section against which the accelerated first flow of material may be crushed, and a second feed device for feeding a second flow of material to be crushed into the path of the accelerated first flow of material. The second feed device includes an inner hopper and an outer hopper. The inner hopper includes at least one outlet for allowing the second flow of material to enter a space formed between the inner and outer hoppers. • Patent number: 8490905
Abstract: A horizontal shaft impact crusher includes a crusher housing having an inlet for material to be crushed and an outlet for material that has been crushed. An impeller is mounted in the crusher housing for rotation about a horizontal axis. A curtain disposed in the crusher housing is arranged so material accelerated by the impeller is crushed thereagainst. An adjustment device, which adjusts the position of the curtain relative to the impeller, is slidable connected to guide rods. The adjustment device includes a locking device positionable selectively in either a holding state in which the locking device is de-energized and arranged to apply a holding force for holding the adjustment device in a crusher operation position relative to the guide rods, or an adjustment state in which the locking device is energized and arranged to release the holding force, thereby enabling displacement of the adjustment device relative to the guide rods.

  • Patent number: 7350725
Abstract: A method of crushing material includes the steps of feeding a first flow of material to be crushed to a rotor rotating around a vertical axis, the rotor accelerating the first flow of material towards an impact wall section, and feeding a second flow of material to be crushed into the path of the accelerated first flow of material. The second flow of material is fed in a direction having a substantially tangential component in relation to the rotor, such that the second flow of material will have a substantially tangential component of movement in relation to the rotor when reaching the path of the first flow of material. A crusher is adapted to feed the second flow of material such that it will have a substantially tangential component of movement in relation to the rotor when reaching the path of the first flow of material.

  • Patent number: 4989426
Abstract: A support structure for a vertically arranged combination household appliance, more particularly a front loading dryer assembly arranged above a top loading washer assembly, includes vertical main support members, horizontal members and other members. The structure adequately supports both appliance assemblies of the combination appliance during transportation and usage, provides improved operating performance during off balance washer spin conditions or dryer tumbling, and maintains unitary appliance characteristics by being an integral part of the combination appliance design and by being located entirely interior to the appliance cabinetry.
