  • Publication number: 20240099606
Abstract: An apparatus includes a frame and a plurality of magnetic field generators. The frame is configured to be secured to a patient's head. The frame includes a plurality of housings. Each housing of the plurality of housings is configured to securely engage a corresponding portion of the patient's head. The plurality of magnetic field generators is operable to generate a magnetic field around at least a portion of the patient's head. Each magnetic field generator of the plurality of magnetic field generators is securely retained by a corresponding housing of the plurality of housings.

  • Patent number: 11771339
Abstract: A catheter calibration system includes a calibration chamber, a receiver and a processor. The calibration chamber is configured to generate a calibration magnetic field that oscillates at a first frequency. The calibration chamber includes a cavity for inserting a distal end of a catheter having one or more magnetic-field sensors. The receiver is configured to be connected to the catheter, to receive from the catheter one or more signals, which are generated by the one or more magnetic-field sensors in response to the calibration magnetic field, and to convert the one or more signals into one or more respective intermediate frequency (IF) signals having a second frequency that is lower than the first frequency. The processor is configured to receive the one or more IF signals from the receiver and to calculate catheter navigation calibration data from the one or more IF signals.

  • Publication number: 20230277250
Abstract: A method includes receiving a target location for performing a procedure in an organ of a patient and a mapping of a lumen located along a path to the target location. Based on the target location and the mapping received, the method further includes producing an endoscopic view of at least the lumen and displaying in the endoscopic view, on at least a wall of the lumen, one or more marks indicative of a progress of the procedure.

  • Publication number: 20220370144
Abstract: A medical apparatus includes a probe including a handle having a longitudinal axis, a distal tip disposed on the longitudinal axis, and a position sensor, which is disposed in the handle on the longitudinal axis at a predefined distance from the distal tip and is configured to output a signal indicative of a location of the probe. An alignment jig includes a connector configured to be fixed removably to the distal tip of the probe and three protrusions, which extend from the connector and are configured to contact a surface of a body of a patient at respective points, which are disposed in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis when the connector is fixed to the distal tip of the probe.
