  • Publication number: 20030150759
Abstract: The carton has two side panels, a front panel, a back panel and top and bottom flaps attached by a crease to each panel. The front panel has a trapezoidal shaped tear out section from a top edge to a bottom portion. A tape carrying handle is adhesively attached to a top portion of each side panel. Upon removing the trapezoidal tear out section, a purchaser of the carton filled with cans in a longitudinally stacked array is able to remove one can at a time without causing other cans to fall out of the carton.

  • Patent number: 5967319
Abstract: A bottle carrier including a planar bottom panel having a generally rectangular configuration. The bottom panel has opposed long side edges and short opposed end edges. The bottom panel receives a plurality of standing bottles thereon. A front and back panel is secured to the opposed long side edges of the bottom panel. The front and back panels each has lower edges foldably secured to the opposed long side edges of the bottom panel. Each of the front and back panels has a pair of end panels foldably secured to opposing end edges thereof. A pair of bottom end panels are foldably secured to the short opposed end edges of the bottom panel. A pair of top panels are foldably secured with upper edges of the front and back panels. A tape carrying handle is provided having a first end secured to a first top panel. The tape carrying handle has a second end adapted for securement to a second top panel in a carrying orientation. A second carrier tape can be secured over the first tape.

  • Patent number: 4354885
Abstract: A method of making gypsum wallboard in which a portion of the conventional foamed gypsum slurry for forming the wallboard core is fed through a relatively high speed agitator, wherein a special addition of material is thoroughly admixed therewith to increase the fluidity without adversely affecting the density or setting characteristics and this portion of the slurry is then disposed along the edge portion of the wallboard being formed, whereby a hard-edge wallboard is produced under conditions including improved uniformity of core edge setting time, density and dimensions and reduced plug-ups of feed lines through which the core-edge material is fed.

  • Patent number: 4327146
Abstract: A gypsum wallboard, and the method of manufacture, wherein a defoamer is disposed at the gypsum-paper interface during manufacture, causing the foam, present in the core forming gypsum slurry, to break down at the gypsum-paper interface, increasing substantially the density of the gypsum at the interface, relative to the density throughout the center portion of the gypsum core.

  • Patent number: 4279673
Abstract: A method of making gypsum wallboard in which a portion of the conventional foamed gypsum slurry for forming the wallboard core is fed through a relatively low speed agitator wherein a defoaming agent is thoroughly admixed therewith, and this portion of the slurry is then disposed along the edge portion of the wallboard being formed, whereby a hard-edge wallboard is produced using less energy than used with prior methods for making a hard-edge wallboard.
