  • Patent number: 9116585
Abstract: A capacitive stylus includes: a hollow stylus stick; a soft touch member made of conductive plastic or rubber in the form of a hollow housing, the soft touch member having a domed touch end; a connection collar assembled with an end section of the stylus stick, the connection collar and the soft touch member together defining an internal space; a support member disposed in the internal space, the support member being made of a rubber material with hardness greater than that of the soft touch member; and a rest seat assembled with the support member, the support member being spaced from the soft touch member by a gap and formed with a multi-support structure facing the soft touch member. In operation, the soft touch member can keep a proper softness without being over-deformed or collapsed.

  • Publication number: 20140378555
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to portable facial treatment devices, and methods of using same. In some embodiments, the invention is directed to a muscle toning treatment device, comprising: (i) a polarity generator; (ii) a single active electrode assembly comprising a first electrode being adapted to apply electrical current to the area of the skin to be treated; (iii) at least one vibration modality, wherein the vibration modality provides a vibration frequency, of between 5-6 MHz or between 30-35 Hz; (iv) at least one heating modality for heating the skin of the user, wherein the temperature of the heating modality is between 34 and 45 degrees Celsius; and (v) a counter electrode assembly comprising second electrode being adapted to be in continuous contact to a second location of the skin of the user.

  • Publication number: 20050248117
Abstract: This invention relates to a drive mechanism for a scooter or similar vehicle. A pair of opposed rotatable crank arms are mounted to a drive gear on the frame. Each crank arm is attached to a footboard that is itself rotatably mounted to the frame. The footboard is mounted further from the axis of the crank arms than the distance from the axis of the crank arms to the point at which they contact the footboards. Reciprocating downward pressure on each footboard drives rotation of the crank arms which in turn drive a wheel of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6699196
Abstract: Simulative electronic blood pressure meter in which by means of internal program, a central processor/controller converts and outputs the sensed blood pressure signal to a liquid crystal display to show a column-type indication simulating the mercury column of a traditional blood pressure meter. A digital counting circuit is combined, whereby when simulating the mercury column, an auxiliary display of digital change is provided for the user to easily know the value. The central processor/controller cooperates with a sound emitting unit which synchronously emits a sound simulating the sensed pulse from the start to the end. The volume of the emitted sound is varied with the strength of the pulse. The electronic blood pressure meter is used in a state like the mercury column-type blood pressure meter for a user to more accurately and lively judge the measured value.

  • Patent number: 3961473
Abstract: The timer comprises an oscillator and a pair of memories for selectively receiving and storing signals from the oscillator. Each memory is connected to a display which indicates in digital form, and to the nearest tenth, the number of minutes of play that are represented by the signals stored in the associated memory. Before the start of a chess game, each player pushes one of two switches which directs the oscillator signals to the count-down terminal on the associated memory to store therein signals corresponding to the amount of minutes that player is allotted for making a certain number of moves. When play commences the players alternately operate a second pair of switches, one after each move, selectively to direct the signals to count-down terminals on said memories to continuously update the previously stored signals of a memory during the time the associated player is making a move.
