The device comprises a body member having a core member inserted in the reservoir of the primary syringe. A liquid passageway for storing a radionuclide for the bolus injection is formed by a helical groove around the core member. A secondary syringe may be included in the primary syringe to measure small quantities of injectate.

The device comprises a body member having a core member covered by a cylindrical sleeve of clear plastics material. A liquid passageway for storing a radionuclide for the bolus injection is formed by a helical groove around the core member. Female and male connecting members at opposite ends of the body member, connect the device to a syringe and needle respectively.
