  • Patent number: 8069758
Abstract: A head section for a rotary cutting device includes a body portion that includes a blade passage defined between a blade entrance opening and a blade exit opening. A blade fastening mechanism is positioned in the blade passage and includes a blade engaging member. The blade engaging member is biased by a biasing mechanism to extend across the blade passage at a blade install position. The blade engaging member is movable against the bias to clear the blade passage. A blade having a mount aperture proximate an insertion end thereof is secured to the body portion when the mount aperture occupies the blade mount position and the blade engaging member extends through the mount aperture. The blade can be installed in and removed from the head section without tools, simply by advancing the blade through the blade passage.

  • Patent number: 8001240
Abstract: A generic mechanism and model are provided to capture and store configuration profiles for resource monitors such that monitors can be flexibly deployed, configured, modified, and removed using appropriate sets of parameters and values. As an integral part of resource provisioning, this generic mechanism will require only a generic set of workflows and a generic data model to provision monitors. The provisioning system of the present invention captures and stores response parameters and values from monitors created during initial deployment such that these parameters can be used for later modification and removal of these monitors.

  • Publication number: 20090290966
Abstract: An illustrative gripping accessory or thumb is adapted for use with a machine having a tool, for example, a backhoe bucket attached to an extendable or non-extendable arm of a dipper stick. The accessory or thumb can be releasably attached to the machine and includes a pair of grip members that can be pivotably coupled to the distal pivot pin connecting the bucket and extendable arm and a grip linkage coupled between each grip member and the intermediate pivot coupling the extendable arm and the rotatable linkage coupled to the bucket rotation cylinder. Thus the use of the gripping accessory with a bucket requires no welding or other permanent modification of the machine and can be stowed or removed when not in use.

  • Publication number: 20090094695
Abstract: Illustrative embodiments provide a computer implemented method, data processing system and computer program product for generating an association between a configuration item and an account. In one illustrative embodiment, the computer implemented method comprises selecting the configuration item requiring account association to create a selected configuration item, and selecting a set of rules for the selected configuration item to form a set of selected rules, wherein the selected set of rules is used to associate configuration items to accounts. Further the method determines whether a match is present between the set of selected rules and the selected configuration item, and responsive to determining that a match is present, obtains account mapping information for an account identified by the match, and associates the selected configuration item with the account using the account mapping information.
