Patent number: 11958261Abstract: Example shoe manufacturing methods and related computer readable medium for implementing a portion of said manufacturing methods are disclosed herein. In some examples, the method includes placing an upper member about an upper portion of a last, wherein the last is a form for the shoe. In addition, the method includes producing a lasting based on data relating to a foot of a user, and attaching the lasting to the upper member, wherein the lasting extends over a lower portion of the last. Further, the method includes molding a sole onto the lasting and the upper member, and removing the last from the upper member.Type: GrantFiled: July 20, 2018Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.Inventors: Edward Ponomarev, Matthew G. Lopez, Stephen George Miller

Patent number: 11954143Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for obtaining and managing remote sensing data (e.g. Earth observation data). A remote sensing platform obtains imagery and other remote sensing data of the Earth and other planetary objects. The remote sensing platform includes the International Space Station, or manned and unmanned spacecraft or aircraft. A sensor captures observation data and transmits the data to ground stations on the Earth. A ground segment receives and stores the data. Users use an order management system to place orders for the observation data, which specify processing parameters for the remote sensing data. The remote sensing data is retrieved from storage is processed according to the parameters to generate a data product. This system provides tools for searching and analyzing the data, and for interacting with the system through an API. The system combines data that is produced by the remote sensing platform and by third parties.Type: GrantFiled: January 26, 2022Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: EARTHDAILY ANALYTICS CORP.Inventors: Daniel Lopez, Alex Bain, George Tyc, Keith Dennis Richard Beckett, Nathan David Weisiger

Publication number: 20240024652Abstract: A luer connector including a rigid housing having a first end and a second end. The housing further including a rigid tubular male portion at the first end, a rigid tubular female portion at the second end, and a longitudinal opening therethrough. The male portion is configured to be engageable with a female connector. The female portion is configured to be engageable with a male connector and to prevent the disengagement of the male connector from the female portion. In some embodiments, the female portion is configured to maintain a fixed rotational position when the male connector is being threaded therewith, but to rotate with the male connector once the male connector has become fully engaged with the female portion so as to prevent the male connector from becoming unthreaded from the female portion.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 2, 2023Publication date: January 25, 2024Inventors: Thomas F. Fangrow, JR., George A. Lopez

Patent number: 11806308Abstract: Some embodiments disclosed herein related to a device for transferring precise amounts of fluid from at least one source container to at least one target container. In some embodiments, the fluid is first transferred from the source container (e.g., a vial) through a connector to an intermediate measuring container (e.g., a syringe). In some embodiments air can pass through an air inlet and enter the vial to compensate for the volume of fluid withdrawn from the vial. An air check valve or a bag or a filter can prevent the fluid from escaping through the air inlet. The precisely measured amount of fluid can then be transferred from the intermediate measuring container to the target container (e.g., an IV bag). In some embodiments the connector can include a source check valve and a target check valve to direct fluid first from the source container to the intermediate measuring container and then from the intermediate measuring container to the target container.Type: GrantFiled: May 10, 2021Date of Patent: November 7, 2023Assignee: ICU Medical, Inc.Inventors: George A. Lopez, Thomas F. Fangrow, Peter Leissling, Matthias Janssen

Publication number: 20220379697Abstract: Fluid transfer systems are disclosed that can be configured to transfer precise amounts of fluid from a source container to a target container. The fluid transfer system can have multiple fluid transfer stations for transferring fluids into multiple target containers or for combining different types of fluids into a single target container to form a mixture. The fluid transfer system can include a pump and a destination sensor, such as a weight sensor. The fluid transfer system can be configured to flush remaining fluid out of a connector to reduce waste, using air or a flushing fluid.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 4, 2022Publication date: December 1, 2022Inventors: George A. Lopez, Thomas F. Fangrow
