  • Publication number: 20240254575
Abstract: A method for manufacturing direct reduced iron wherein iron ore is reduced in a direct reduction furnace by a reducing gas, the reducing gas exiting the furnace through the top as a top reduction gas. The top reduction gas is captured and at least partly subjected to a CO2 recovery step during which it is divided into two streams, a CO2-rich stream and a CO2-poor stream. The CO2-rich stream is subjected to an alkanol production step to produce an alkanol product.

  • Publication number: 20240242834
Abstract: Described herein are methods and systems for preventing a glycemic event. One or more improved deep-learning models for predicting glycemic events may receive current blood glucose data and other physiological data from associated with a patient. The one or more models may determine one or more future blood glucose values and whether or not the one or more future blood glucose values satisfy one ore more thresholds associated with one or more glycemic events (e.g., hypoglycemia and/or hyperglycemia). If the one or more future blood glucose values satisfy the one or more thresholds, one or more actions may be taken (e.g., administration of insulin).

  • Patent number: 11693540
Abstract: Techniques and methods are disclosed for providing improved and consistent navigation within a mobile shopping application. A default graphical user interface may be provided at a display of a user device. In response to a navigation request at the default graphical user interface, the application can enter a store mode for a separate specialty store within the application. While in the store mode, the application can present a subsequent graphical user interface that overlays the default graphical user interface. The subsequent graphical user interface can be configured using data conforming to a graphical interface specification. The graphical interface specification may also include rules for determining which navigation requests properly enter and leave the store mode.
